In the email I got regarding the 1.3 release the very first feature states: "Replace your Start menu icon when centered", I installed it from my Object Desktop installer and went to the Start Button section in the Start11 options only to be greeted to a disabled custom start button image selector with a message in red stating "Only supported when start button is on the left of the taskbar in Windows 11." So were you lying in the email? If I had not got it through

In my setup I use a 3440x1440 monitor as my main and a 2560x1440 one for a secondary. I have Windows 11 set to show the taskbar on the secondary display. With Start 11 installed I get an annoying bright green vertical bar at the far left of the secondary taskbar every time I boot up my PC. The only way I can get rid of it is to go into the Windows taskbar settings and turn off the option to display a bar on every screen then turn it back on again. I have confir

[quote who="Tanjo3000" reply="18" id="3801833"] Update: After making my last post I uninstalled Curtains intending to re-install it the next day which I did not get round to! Yesterday I decided to try and sort out the issues with my installation of Windows that prevented some updates and got that all fixed so today I updated to Windows Insider build 21H1 which went without hitch (unlike my attempt to force Windows to update to version 2004!). After I finis

Any update on my issue? I have provided the info you requested. A little feedback to at least acknowledge you have read the reply and are looking into it would be appreciated, after all, having it stopping the Windows login screen showing is a pretty serious issue. 😕

Since installing the beta of Curtains I have been experiencing issues with Windows booting. After using the standard shutdown option to shut my computer off for the night I boot up to get a black screen on both my monitors as though the actual login screen is on a 3rd monitor. I can still log in by pressing any key then my pin code but then the desktop fails to load fully, sometimes I get errors while it's trying to draw the desktop but I can not reproduce those effectively to remembe

Ok, having followed your instructions I have realized what the root of the issue is. I have an Object Desktop subscription and Multiplicity KM is included with that but I paid for KVM separately. Recently OD was insisting that I update Multiplicity, it was getting annoying seeing the reminder every day so I allowed it! Perhaps OD needs a way to detect you are using a Multiplicity KVM license and remove Multiplicity KM from the update list.

Thank you for finally getting to the issue but the excuse you gave here is unacceptable. You may need to re-assess how your ticket system works, once in a queue a ticket should not be removed from that queue for any reason other than getting a response from support. What if I was adding further information that could help with solving the issue faster?

On Tuesday I was using my computer as normal then out of the blue, after the PC had been on for at least 5 hours, Multiplicity KVM decided that it was no longer registered! I tried giving it my registration info and was informed that my key is invalid! So I went to the EdgeRunner web site, logged in to my account and checked the key there, it was the same and still Multiplicity tells me it's invalid. So I filed a support ticket (JFD-366-22639) and was informed by th

Does not work on my system! I get the same non display of animations as I got with version 5.15 running on Windows 10! There are a few animations that do work (both versions of WindowFX). I too have noticed the animation effects not working on Windows 10. There are a few that do work but on the most part animations just fail to display. These are the ones I found to work in the Open Window section: Default obviously works! Basic fade in. Expand from left/right. Expand. Swipe from left/right. Shrink from screen. Slide from top/bottom/left/right. Curiously no

Today I decided to try Start10 for my installation of Windows 10. I decided to easy install it using the Object Desktop Manager but when I clicked install I was informed that Start10 is for a different version of Windows than I have! I downloaded Start10 manually from the web site and the installer works perfectly so I guess this is a bug in the OD Manager!

[quote who="Neil Banfield" reply="11" id="3295440"] I assume when you purchased your subscription the current operating system was Windows 7. It just seems to me that by the time my subscription runs out I will not have a full set of Object Desktop software that I can use on Windows 8. Where is the insentive to renew a subscription when half the programs do not work? It seems I will have to buy another PC with Windows 7 on it just to be able to use the software I have paid for!
