Renaming the shortcuts didn't work for me. I suppose I could create different copies of the actual executable, but then the program my not behave correctly. Yeah, I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but it can be useful. Besides my VMware example I'm sure there are other applications that would benefit from this too. Like launching different websites with a web browser, each having their on respective icons.
I have two shortcuts to VMware machines on my ObjectDock. I want different icons for each, but when I change one, it changes the other. What I did was change the start in folder on one from: C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation\ to (removed trailing backslash) C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation I'm guessing this tricks ObjectDock to thinking each are different application. I create a new shortcut to Firefox. Click it and it opens Firefox. If I click it again it brings the currently open Firefox window to the foreground. What I want it to do is open a new Firefox window. Is there any way I can make opening a new window the default behavior with ObjectDock 2? I realized I can right click and click "Open Firefox" to open a new window but that takes longer and for me the whole point of ObjectDock is to increase my efficiency.
Yoav1234: do you have any of the Microsoft .NET packages installed on your computer? I had never experienced this problem until the other day when I updated my system with dot net patches.

I have ObjectDock Plus with 5 docks. (1) I have autohiding dock on top for quick launch, (2) dock on the right edge with time, date, and temp, (3) dock on bottom edge with system tasks, (4) autohiding dock on bottom right edge with task tray, and finally (5) a autohiding dock on the left edge with start menu, shutdown etc. I have flyout menus on the left and top.
