In large, long games, I will end turn and the turn button will disappear, never to reappear. I can still click on planets, and issue order to ships, and click and open the economy or diplomancy screens--and there is no error or crash. The game jhust does not proceed to take its turn and then give me my next one. Any thoughts? Thanks

This is DIRECTLY from StarDock... "t requires an updated version of Stardock Central that has been designed to make use of our updated server farm infrastructure. So in theory, your download speeds should be very fast." So the clear implication is that they have CHANGED Stardock Central from free-range servers to servers being tortured in some sinister-sounding 'server farm infrastructure.' Servers are tools, yes,

Dude, you had me at beta 5. From the gamma screenshots, I am going to be blown away. Im probably going to buy a few extra copies and give them to friends, because great, smaller companies like yours DESERVE huge success when they make contributions to their field like you guys have. But seriously---THE TERRORISTS WIN if I dont get 1.0, like, I dont know, yesterday or something...

Ill buy both, but Im sorry, anyone who says SEIV or what appears on SEV looks anywhere close to GC2, uh, no. If you actually PLAY GC2 beta, Id say that SEV has its work cut out for it. And check out the unbelievable gamma screenshots. Lets not forget t6hat SEV is being developed on a much smaller manpower and $ budget than GC2. If they are smart over at Malfador, they will try to keep their 'complicated' paradigm, because I seriously doub

Gimeegimeegimeegimegimme..... Seriously, will it ruin the economy of GC2 to let me have it now? The robots at the repro factories already have it... Are you saying you guys prefer ROBOTS over real, live human beings? It's madness, I tell you, MADNESS!!!!!!! C'mon, man, one little copy. One sweet, little, wonderful little copy... I could get hit by a car before 2-21 <br

I'd prefer a tac combat option. But I have to admit, playing the beta and zooming in, you almost do not miss it much. you zoom into the battle, and you get to see what's going on pretty well. Tac combay MIGHT be more of a hassle than it is worth. This combat system--energy weapons, energy defenses, mass driver weapons, mass driver defenses, missle weapons, missle defenses--and hit points--is really cool, but it is not so complicated that

Whats with all the slamming of RTW? I second the motion about it being the best strategy game ever on a computer. And as for you folks who talk about how easy the combat is and how bad the AI is---huh? Is it possible to beat 4000 troops with 400? Yes, by managing your army, having experienced troops, a great general against a general-less enemy, higher tech level troops, and frankly, smart use of terrain. Even by smart use of these, such victories

Hi, guys! I am a vet of these kinds of games, and let me start by saying--this one is going to be a BLOCKBUSTER!!!!!!! But, I am getting creamed, even on Beginner! Does the AI start with some kind of building, tech and ship advantage? Or does the AI just use optimal build orders? After 50 or 80 turns, I am pathetically behind in tech, despite spending all resopurces on developing new tech research centers. Any advice?</font
