ShadowsKnight, Thanks for restating your thoughts. I agree that more involvement with the community would be a good thing. I also agree with your ideas about more and different contests being a good thing to stimulate both activity AND quality/creativity. The GUI Olympics are a good example, but holding contests more often for things like software and subscriptions would encourage more participation.(Anybody still reading this thread?). First of all I don't skin...don't have the gift. Having said that, I have been coming here almost daily since the demise of skins.org so I have observed the evolution of this thing called "skinning" for several years. Some observations: 1. I agree with Hippy in that, if all a person wants is recolored windows, or a small border then WB is a waste of time. Size is not everything however. To me the answer is simple. Stardock, which is a business afterall, should continue to support earlier versions of Windows as long as it is more profitable for them to do so. I know that sounds harsh but when it becoms more expensive to support these systems than the amount of money generated by 98/ME user subscriptions, they should stop supporting them. In the meantime there should be disclaimers put on all programs and products and skins which will work slow or be buggy on these systems.
