Reply to Won't Uninstall in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

I am also having problems uninstaling SDC after experiencing problems with Icon Packager which for me was the last straw on an unstable suite of programs. Using Windows uninstall program locked my system, so I tried to individual uninstall each program but ran into a problem losing the msvcr71.dll which caused a number of problem which I resolved by reinstalling the programs. Having spent two wasted days restoring my systems and reloading programs, I used google search to discover that all my problems (ie. in not being able to run Quicken etc etc) were due to the recent update to Stardock (related programs). When I applied the fix recommended by Nakor (removing iprepair.dll from the iconpackager directory) the problem was solved. However, the level of frustration is such that I no longer have confidence in these programs I
