Galactic Civilizations 1 Ultimate Edition/Altarian Prophey on Windows 7 64 Bit- Transfer game from old pc..how? in Stardock Games Stardock Forums

Ok..just got a nice new windows 7 64 bit system ..a nice new computer. I wanted to install some old games onto it. I copied my Galc Civ 1 everything edition from my old laptop to the new computer. Game won't run. The little thinking circle spins around and nothing happens. Will the game even work on such a system? Do i need to resintall the game? If so, i have my old email reg code and serial #..can i re dl it from somewhere? can someone post a fix? can someone help? I noticed when copyin

I too like GalCiv I better. I agree with Jourin. The only thing i liked better about II was the choice to be one of the other races. That's it. Galciv I is more intuitive and also relaxing for me. And like Jourin said, MORE FUN!

I can manufacture evil ships if I am "Good" and conquer an "evil" empire? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

It would seem that I can do this based on my last game. Is this correct? I can make death (whatever-forgot) ships :), if I conquer the evil Drengins, let us say, and I am of "good" alignment? In other words, I don't have to be evil to make those evil ships once i conquer an evil empire. Doug

Well, it is really fun having 2 more races. I love diplomacy and now there is that much more! I play with the following alignments: Korx? oops I forgot the name hehhe- Pure Evil Dregin- Chaotic Evil Yor- Chaotic Evil Arcaen- Neutral Drath- Chaotic good Torian- Chaotic Good Altarian- Pure Good I haven't played any campaigns yet. So far so good..still in my first game....
