I'm a bit stumped. My last wallpaper submission was rejected. I thought it was better than some other ones of mine that got accepted... Can I get at least a comment or two as to why it was rejected? I'm not looking for a general comment i.e. "we thought it would not make a great wallpaper" - that's way too general and does not help someone to stop making same/similar mistakes going forward. However, if there was some way for a person to know that their submission was rejected vs. not-been-looked-at-yet it would not keep one in a limbo. If all submissions are reviewed within 5 days, no exceptions, then if your work does not show up here within that time, then you would know that it was definately rejected. However, if it wa

Man, sounds like we need a site dedicated exclusively to wallpapers )(jk - I'm aware of bandwidth and storage costs) With 900+ pieces it is only second to WindowBlinds skins in volume. I can see where a "skins" site could quickly loose it's focal point by becoming a wallpaper-centric site, at least dues to volume. So I guess this is where you - the moderators - come in to make sure that this does not happen

Hi, I've uploaded a wallpaper with a theme of a particular OS. It was rejected with a reason "moderated." - I have no clue what that means. I see other wallapers here that appear to almost contain "copy/paste" of the OS logos and somehow these qualified to be posted here. Mine contained vague resemblance of such logo and yet it was rejected. Is there someone here that really understands how this "rating" thing works. I hate to spend time working on something just to have it rejected. I want

Hi, I uploaded a wallpaper called Nausea on Sept. 19, 2001. According to the info I got here, it should take 'bout 2 days for it to appear. Well, It's still not here....Thinking that it got lost, I tried uploading today again. Got error message that the wallpaper already exists. Sooo, how come I can't see it and it's not showing when I'm searching for it? thx!

Interestingly, I've purchased a Computer Arts mag (published in the UK) and was able to confirm my suspicions - these intricate abstracts are designed using a combination of 2D and 3D packages - sometimes more than two - so much for the manuals then. digitaljames - I did not ask HOW TO USE my software. I asked for tips on techniques that manuals do not necessarily share...so dont jump into cunclusions dude BTW, if you think it costs 4-5 grand for the software, you should check out eBay - great deals on fully licensed used and new software
