A lot switched to Heroes of Newerth or League of Legends beta.

The display health bar option ingame (most of you probably don't even know that there is one!) is great, however I would like to have it fixed that the health bar on different zooms is correct. Currently it's often displaying a lower health than it really is. Additionally, it would be cool if it displays mana as well.
I will definately be more picky. They just can't cope with companys like blizzard, relic etc.
If you are a casual gamer, don't buy it (yet). Skirmish and Pantheon are not working properly and if you don't know how to forward ports on your router you are probably doomed anyway. The game is great but tons of people left because of bugs and connectivity.
Scenario: I'm playing a 3vs3 and 20 mins into the game it's clear that we will lose. I'm an experienced player admitting defeat and really have better things to do (e.g. playing another game perhaps) than being slaughtered in the coming minutes. So I start a Team Concede vote but my teammates are either new or want to continue playing. Now I have two choices: 1) Quit and increase Disconnect% 2) Idle in the game and do some other stuff like watching tv I bet many peop
Custom games are playable because most of the people where it didn't work gave up. It really only works if you know how to forward ports on your router. AND there are still crashes, random disconnects etc. Playable but not what you would expect from a solid game 1+ month into release.
This happened to me twice today, really annoying. Especially since it was a clear win and in the end it is counted as a loss. (I played it till the end, won it and a few minutes later Pantheon showed it as a loss) Almost makes me think about people exploiting this when they see they are losing...
The connectivity is STILL totally flawed. There is no excuse for this after one month - they have failed and will probably never fix it properly. The game itself is awesome.
I'd love to see 1-3 but Karma is a bad idea.
Very important things in that list, looking forward to them. I am missing the crash on game launch (after the lobby master starts the game) fix tho, a lot of games have to be remade due to one player crashing. (It's usueless to play with/against an AI player)
Actually, 350 pings should be acceptable -- it's only player perceptions that make 200+ unnacceptable. The game lags because some peoples machines just can't handle it.#
Simspeed is always above 3, so no.
Because the maps are huge models which take time to make. Custom maps should be enabled... but even if they were, you wouldn't be seeing any real custom maps
I'm not even sure where to start with this.
How about you try to answer the following questions: Why does multiplayer still not work properly for me and a lot others, even with forwarded ports? (Yes the devil D-Link router) Why are 200+ pings mostly unacceptable in this game? And why do a lot of games still lag with sub 100 pings? Why do I have to continue playing when all opponents left the
I always play custom games because skirmish and Pantheon is even more just a luck game when it comes to players/connectivity. This being said, the newest patch made connecting worse for me. Almost every game i try to join is a mess. Either me being stuck in the connecting to lobby thing or when in the lobby other people not connecting to others (and/or STILL having red 0 pings). The beta patch was actually fine connectivity-wise. Sad :(
Every patch made everything worse. The beta patch actually ran fine but this is a MESS. And people, stop telling others that their settings might suck.....other games work fine. (AND use p2p...) It seems to me that there are now dozens of workarounds for connectivity in place but instead of fixing things they're just making things more complicated and causing even more errors. It's a shame a great game is destroyed by such a poor network code.
Serious question: What is Dawn of War 2 doing differently? It works out of the box, I don't have to forward any ports at all. I can forward ALL of my ports on my router (yes it's a D-Link) but still no go in Demigod. It actually works with people from across the ocean. Most Demigod games with people who ping higher than 200 are laggy as hell. AFAIK DoW2 is using a p2p system too, Games for Windows Live is just for the matchmaking
The question is, does the enemy see the items and can they pick them up?
So doing a quick check on Pantheon your stats say that you always play with the same people. Considering you're playing with set-up teams and probably voice-comm why don't you go find some set-up teams as well? Funny how you say *I* am good while not even playing random matches at all...
