"committing fraud" ridiculous statement, anyway, you are right ofcourse. I just was extremily mad at that extra cost. I should have tried intra-EU first but i wanted the game so badly so i DL it and bought the cds.
Today my precious GalCiv-game came and there was a little note that i had to pay 22 US-dollars in tax. Thank you stardock! Very nice of you! This must be the single most expensive "#¤%& game i ever bought a total of 76 USdollars!!! Ok, its good but..hell i didnt even get a printed manual. You could have written "gift" or something everybody does to stop things like this. Disappointed!
yes i know, and i had the latest SDC. Anyway, i repaired it, and it doesnt have to have with SD to do (it was only that i wanted to track down what happened;)
hm, clarification: the computor doesnt start at all (dont know yet about the game;)
Yesterday night i DL the latest "patch" via stardock and everything went fine. But i was tired so i called it a night and turned off the computor. Now it wont start. I see when i start the usual "memory-count" and what HD and CD-players etc i have after that winXP shall load but its black (ie. it doesnt load at all) Now i wonder if its the game or i have to install windows again? (i am currently using my ancient laptop and i have tons of other things on my computor i dont wan
I have Excactly the same problem as Mythor (message #48 here above) with metaverse. And i have finished two games and i got the "delicious juice from severe rash" maybe twelve times (five of them in five turns-ok, it got cheaper and cheaper to be "good" there)
ah, i reread your question: as you love CivIII, i can guarantee to 99% that you will love GalCiv too;)
I downloaded it when available and then played for straight 12 hours a few hours sleep then i (to my shame) called in sick and have now played another ten hours...break now, must have some food:) (disclaimer: i totally enjoy Civ and this game is vaguely "Civ in space" so its maybe therefore i enjoy GalCiv so much;)
I have played Moo3 and i have also played Galciv now. When Moo3 came out me and three of my friends was exalted and carried over our computors so we could play together. (We have booked the whole weekend) After maybe ten hours we packed the computors in the car and watched a movie instead. Now i have been playing GalCiv constantly for 12 hours, have forgotten to eat (i do have one gallon of Cola and lots of tobacco so...;)Just wanted to drop in here and post this before i go to
