I have had the zoo twice now -the first time i voted for it got it and the critters actually ended up as a good defence unit against the Drengin who were trying to wipe me out. The second time i thought i don't want these monsters as they will cause havoc but the United Planets voted i should have them anyway. In my first game on sub-mormal settings the Drengin were hammered by the Altarians who at the same time turned on me and then took all my systems. I have had to move down to lower difficulty setting as i am no match at the moment to the AI. On my recent game the United Planets left me fuming though as i was well ahead in the tech race and so they voted to share techs for the next 2 years and as a result as the computer put it the others cleaned up and i got nothing

I have started playing as the war party does the morale of the people reflect inpart the actions of the elected party and if not i think it should. In other words if i am not warlike as the war party this should effect my ability to get voted back in and not just whether taxes are kept low etc. As the war party i think that it should not be just enough to keep taxes down and purchase morale boosting items on my planets it should also be a requirement to be war like etc to continue as th

i have just downloaded and started my first game and had to post this for any doubters or people who have drifted over from MOO3 as i did. This game is excellent and i cannot recommend it enough almost as good as moo was bad.
