Citing #612, my drops to desktop are not dependent on the proper order of clicking "done" and "send". I tried making some trades adhering to the "proper" order and still had crashes. It's really too bad, since this bug is a game stopper for me. I'll just have to shelf GC until this nasty one is fixed. :(
With the most recent build, I've started to get a lot of crashes to desktop. Almost all of them have occurred during tech trading. WinXP Home SBLive! GeForce 4400 384MB
How about a player search function for the Metaverse? Paging through 20 screens of scores to find yourself isn't all that rewarding. As a matter of fact, I'm still having trouble finding myself, even though my scores should place me somewhere on the chart.
I was wondering what galaxy size most people regard as the easiest/hardest and why. I've played small games and done pretty well, but in medium I always seem fall short of (at least one of the) computer players' expansion. I hesitate to go to a larger map, but it occurs to me that a larger map may give me room to grow a little more and keep up with the CPs. What do y'all think?

Unless there is the situation that the Altarians had something the Drengin wanted, even if you didn't. Possibly when you asked them to make peace, they gave the Drengin that carrot and triggered the possibility for peace (maybe a Starbase, Planet, specific tech, whatever). This may be a quirk of the AI instead of an explicit bug. Then again, it's probably a loophole and/or bug.
