Ok, somehow this was a serial number error. What is strange is that I had one letter ( **xyz instead of **xyk) out of place when I typed in the serial to install GalCiv, (the strange part being that it accepted it)! After I entered the bad serial I copied and pasted it into a text file in case I needed to use it again and have been trying to use it to register at stardock which would not accept it. Finally checked the cd case and saw the error, input the correct number and its all good

This is rediculous. I just brought the cd back and got a second GalCiv and got the exact same results. I have 4 computers with completely different setups.... hold on, it looks like it works on one of the computers, ironically my slower one. Well they should release any information they have on what might be causing this. So much for playing on the P4 2400 with the 50" Plasma screen, I am back to the P4 550e with the 15" screen. This just wont do. What of the poor soul who only has on

and have been entertained for a reasonable amount of time. So I naturally I am a little concerned about purchasing a game that is getting a "not exactly ground breaking" review. Admittedly, I am a Moo2 fan and was ecstatic when I heard Moo3 was coming out. (sorry about the comparison for you GalCiv purest's but Moo3 fans have been greatly disappointed and inevitably will be coming here in hopes of what Moo3 should have been. Get over it.)But when I started seeing the pre game sho
