If I remember correctly each turn the race gets +1 to all of it's abilities. So given enough time their attack and defense ratings would be huge and they would take over the galaxy.

If you are evil the Drengin will offer to cuddle with you. So I usually go the evil route, rush up the trade route, and my first two freighters go to Drengin planets. Once you start giving them x credits a turn from trade they are less likely to bother you.

I use the mini-soldiers all the time. Keeps the planet intact and means more of my troops convert to population. If I think I can't hold the planet I will use core disruptors or tidal waves to maul the planet...

If would be nice in the trading screen to be able to click on the techs available for trade and get their screen. A lot of times I can't remember what they do or what benefits they provide. So if the Yor offer me Turbo Phasers in return for Deflectors it would be nice to know if he is playing me for the fool.

Uh, exactly what were you disappointed in? Posting without details does not really help Stardock make the game better nor gives folks who are deciding whether to buy the game any information.

That does appear to be an AI weakness. Play the technology race and then sell tech to the other races for a tribute. That tribute allows you to spend more money on research, thus selling them better techs for more money. Very nice upward spiral. At one point today I had over 100BC a turn coming in via tribute.

I will add my voice to the chorus asking for a hyperlinked Tech tree so I can figure out what I want to build without having to ALT-TAB to Netscape to look at the JavaScout's page. Second, I think it would be good if once you got a high level of Espionage on a race you could do some damage. The screen said I had people everywhere and knew more about thier government than they did. So it would be sense that I could use that power to order ships to wrong places, change build queues, order

Hi, Played a game this afternoon where I was the trading king. Noticed one of the other empires was getting really strong in Military so I decided to try to destablize their empire. I spent 116BC credits a turn for the good part of three hours with no effect (or is that affect I never can remember) that I could see. Does this really do anything? If so could we get reports like: "Our spies report rioting in the Streets of Wardell I" or "Our spies report the Yor have capitulated
