How many players should/can we allow in a game? 8? 12? 32? I would add as many players as the engine could handle for online play. Up to 32 would be great for PBEM games. I hope PBEM will be included as a multiplayer option. How sophisticated can we make dungeons in the game? Multi-level dungeons, traps, ambushes, underground cities/forts/defense structures, monsters, tunnelling, mining for resources, creating y

If you used your bank card/credit card that is a authorization hold. This has nothing to do with Stardock. The money is returned after 1 to 30 days depending on the banks policy, unless of course the merchant clears the charge i.e. Stardock release the game tomorrow and charges for it. I have already paid for the game. I paid in the former Stardock currency known as tokens [e digicons][/e]

PBEM is a must for large games. It also eliminates the need for all player to be online at the same time and you don’t need a server. Best thing of all I could have 5 games going at the same time. The only con I see i

I think if there was going to be hotseat and PBEM Stardock would have said something by now. Judging by the screenshots there is no end turn button like in Gal Civ 2. Of course lots could change between now and release. This game could be released as a real-time strategy game and I would still be happy [e digicons]:D[/e]

I installed it last month and it runs perfect on Vista 64 bit. I don't use compatability mode. In fact I played several games of it last weekend. Let me guess you all have Nvidia video cards? https://forums.politicalmachine.com/331706/page/1/#1960577

Well I have no idea how it will work in Elemental, but in Corporate Machine your salesman can move at the same time as the enemy salesman. I played a game yesterday to refresh my memory, it plays alot like a real-time game. As long there is a pause button I am good. I just found the answer to tactical combat, so hotseat and PBEM are out atleast for tactical combat. See the thread titled Design elements of Elemental in dev journals forum. Design ele
I have some questions about this. Firstly, on multiplayer I am not that bothered ... but this is a turn based game. Why can't we have local hosted PBEM like Dominions 3?
Hotseat and PBEM will not be possible, if they are using the turn system like in Corporate Machine. Unless they are saying only tactical battles will use that turn system. Then hotseat and PBEM should be in, which is the only way I play multiplayer with 4x games.

I would like Camp 3 with warehouses. 1. Everything is a resource. 2. Resources can be processed into other resources (iron to swords, crops to food, crystal to potions). 3. Resources are sent automatically to other towns based on the resource needs of that town. No micromanagement, no AI. (Keep this auto) 4. The fun of this portion of the game would be in watching your empire grow organically. Add this friom Camp 4 6. Cities can optionally

I live for this type of economic gameplay, even if the UI sucks. Camp #1: “Sophisticated” has my vote. Camp 2 looks to be the kind of economic model for a mulitplayer orientated game. I'm not opposed to the idea of having both systems in game, if that is possible.
