Aha - figured out why previous auto save was crashing. When I cleared out the old save games, the PreviousAutoSave folder didn't get recreated. I went ahead and created it and after my next turn it was populated with the save game data. I'll re-post if save game problems continue to occur. ~SDC~
1.03.054 Auto Save games getting mucked up again. More precisely, when attempting to load the PreviousAutoSave game, I get a CTD. This crash seemed to have been fixed in the patch prior to this latest one... BTW - I cleared out all old save games and started a new game with this version and problem still happens. ~SDC~
A strange Research bug here: While I was playing, I finished researching all technologies, including Final Frontier. So at that point I set the research allocation to 0. After playing for a while, my game crashed. When I restarted and it automatically showed me the research screen, two techs were available. These were "The Better Way" and "Galactic Pacifism." Here is a new one with the latest patch: When clicking in a sector on the mini galactic map, sometimes the focus ends up one sector away. Also, I am having random game crashes. The last one I had I submitted with "Smart Exception." But since I have no idea where that sends the info I will post it here. Here are a couple of problems I've encountered: 1. When clicking on the little arrow to spit a ship out of a planet from the ships list, the game crashes (returns me to desktop w/o any errors). 2. Some of my planets won't let me select a military item to build, or are stuck building a certain unit and won't let me change the selection. 3. The Star Ship Foundary social project should be spelled "Foundry." :)
