I play that strategy too. I'n my latest game, I started off when a morality below 20 but then sent fleets of colony ships with 1 citizen to the leftover Class 13 or 14 planets and then kept destroying the colonies unless I hit a +PQ event. Of course, taking the +42% PQ affects your morality in a major way, but then I just send more ships to the next crummy planet. When I finish my current game, I intend to be Saintly.

I have used your SW mods and think they are awesome. I like to just leave the diplomacy screen open with the Arceans and wait for Yoda to talk to me. Some of the ship icons take getting used to, but the background music really sets the atmosphere. Thanks for a great mod!!! Now, if someone would just build a Babylon 5 mod. The terror stars could be the Shadow Planet Killers, Dreadnaught or better ships might be White Stars, the Precursors are the Ancient Ones, Drengin = Shadows, Terr
Well, the lack of score posting is annoying me. I was working hard to help my empire get back in the top 10, and now my scores don't even seem to post. :sniff!: >:(
MOM is my favorite game of all time (MOO1 is #2)! If you publish something like Master of Magic, I WILL buy it. The combo of a civilization game with many spells and types available to modify anything and everything is irresistible, if that is your intention with "elemental." ...ecstatic with joy... LOL :D :d
A simple interface improvement suggestion: Add a way to see all of the plantes and sort them by categories, like there was in MOO2 (MOO3 had it too, but...). It is currently a real pain trying to figure out exactly where I want to send my next colony ship and which planets/systems are still open (& what the competition has, based upon my last view of their sector) and sorting them by size & then finding them. The planets sidebar currently implemented only covers your colonized planets.
Thanks, CariElf, I will install the crash log program tonight and report when in crashes again (which it will). In the meantime, I figured out how to join an empire and answer polls - I have to login first! :CONGRAT: (dunce hat)
Two things led me to buy this game: 1) M003 was not fun, and I became very disillusioned with my 2nd favorite game/series in the universe (MOM is #1). Some of the MOO3 boards, Orion Sector, were discussing GalCiv. 2) This forum and all of the updates that were coming out, along with the basic gameplay focus on strategy and single-player. Keep up the updates. Speaking of which, the latest version keeps crashing when the first Senate votes comes up. Please fix that
It looks like the same crash happened to someone else (see post #433)!
I started playing my first real game (after a few false starts) yesterday with the latest patch and everything else except the windowed version installed. The game just keeps crashing back to the desktop, even after restarting the game and reloading, the first time that a Senate vote comes up right after changing from Imperialism. I'm playing medium, loose, common, all opponents on and set to fool and have 10 planets at this point. This is very frustrating and I'm hoping this goes away in the
