Corrupt File after download in Fallen Enchantress Stardock Forums

I appear to have successfully downloaded the file twice. I then get a message that the file is corrupt when I try to install. I am using Windows 7/64 bit with plenty of memory. Please advise. I worked around the problem. DL'ed the file to a removable drive and installed from there. The original problem occurred while extracting the file on the computer. I have no idea why this would be different other than the removable drive

Newbie Questions in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

New to the game and not the genre. :) Here's a quick rundown before I get to my points. I'm in my first real game with the defaults on the CD version and we're past the land grab stage. I'm ahead on tech with huge diplomatic bonuses and I think I'm playing the one with +20 to trade and diplomacy. I've eliminated the Alexians since they had some really nice systems and would have been hemmed in if I allowed them to expand. I am currently at war with the Dregin and the Alt

I am in my first game with the unmodified(CD) version and researched a tech that says I can create planets. Can I really? If so, how? Thanks in advance for your help.
