The amount of hardisk it wants does not bother me either - but do me a favour the damn thing should be on one DVD, or rather buying a DVD version should have been a option. Another thing that annoys me about MOH is having to be connected to the net simply to get the single player game up and running; if not then the instant you do your pc dials out and leaves you with a windowed view of the game ... well thats pantz, or was it ghay, as my nephew Jamie opinioned when he came round to see it.

Under WinXP Windowblinds is accessed via the display properties dialog. Prior that, with other versions of Windows, Windowblinds was a seperate application. A bad skin can really screw things up,especially when you are a new user and your nice new XP install got totaly trashed - who you gonna blame ... brad wardell (sung to the theme from Ghostbusters). Stardock being wise decided obviously nobody sits as their pc looking at the display properties dialog all day long, apart from themers and skin

Tigermoon - hope this hasn't put you off using Nextstart, not when basically it is the OS at fault and you should be blaming big bad Bill instead. If you cannot afford XP then maybe a better bet, to get away from the wonderful world of windoze9x, is seeing if you can get hold of a OEM copy of Windows 2000. Okay well your best bet is to go to the top http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/default.asp thats the page for all the Microsoft Newsgroups for XP. I think you need to visit either the Security and Administration, or the Setup and Deployment group. You should find plenty of people in there - lots of MVPs who should be able to sort this out pretty quick for you.

I take it that the "User Accounts" applet icon appears in your control panel, but when you click on it nothing happens. If so - have you tried logging off and then relog in on the Administrator account and do you get access then.

I long ago grew bored reading some of the guff some have spouted (on some boards) about Windowblinds being slow and StylesXP being faster. I was damned if I thought turning off the MS theme service would speed things up, but having just done so I can only say Yippee and bring on more of the same please - from boot svchost.exe is running 1450 handles - switch of the MS theme service and after reboot svchost.exe down to 956 - sweet. Think that tip needs to make it's way into the WB FAQ imho.
