At turn start, a notification box presented itself saying the Terran Resistance was giving up and surrendering all it's assets to me. I accepted that. Once that box cleared, a box underneath it was revealed in which the Terran Resistance was asking for negotiations to end the war. I accepted that too and agreed to end the war, thinking it was strange that they wanted to negotiate after surrendering. I did not get their planets, so I guess the surrender didn't go throug

I played Galactic Civilizations II years ago and just took the plunge into Galactic Civilizations III a few days ago. I downloaded the game and promptly read the rule book - only to find a whole lot of the rule book no longer applies.
