As I have said, I have already gone through all the trouble of PURGING and RE-INSTALLING the app. After doing that, the app is now is working as I expected. And now I have no idea how make it so that I can re-produce the problem again so it can be diagnosed. If you say there is no conceivable way to use the settings UI to make the app work as I described -- before I purged and re-installed -- then it must have been some bug in the app that only I have encountered thus fa

Please READ what I said more carefully. That is NOT what I asked about. I did NOT ask about how to make ObjectDock start on login or not. I asked about ObjectDock displaying it's SETUP WINDOW ** WHEN ** it DOES start. <span style="text-dec
Like I said, ObjectDock was starting up with it's Setup Window showing. The same Window that shows when you double-click its icon in the System Tray. I went through that whole process of having to re-install the app, and then PURGE and RE-INSTALL the app, to get that be
Thank you. That seems to have done the trick. I'm happy now. But how did it get configured so it did not operate this way? I cannot see to see any settings for it.
I have uninstalled and re-installed the app, but unfortunately that did not help. Like with other apps like this that work "in the background": I would like to make it so that, when the app starts , it does not open a window. I want for there to be an icon in the taskbar only when the window is actually open . Unless the window is open, the only thing I need is an icon i
that's what I meant. sorry.
But perhaps a bug ticket should be opened to get this fixed?
thank you
OK then. Many thanks. I don't suppose there's a way to open an enhancement request...
I only noticed this problem today because of another problem I've never seen before today. I rebooted my system, and the OpenDock window opened when I logged in. That has never happened upon login before. Not even just last week when I had to reboot for a system update. I just wanted to close it and move on to why I rebooted, but clicking the Window Close button wouldn't do it. So I closed it from the Taskbar. To test it to see if it was just an anoma
Sorry. This should be in category ObjectDock. I wish I knew how to change that. I changed it to the correct Category. Jan Oscar, moderator
I Unloaded the app (Double-click Tray Icon to open, then: Logo -> Unload ObjectDock) and manually started it and this still happens.
ObjectDock 3.01 Windows 11 Pro 25H2 Sometimes my Tabbed Docks are placed in the wrong locations when ObjectDock starts. I have three monitors. I have three Tabbed Docks, all displayed at different locations across the top of my Primary monitor. Sometimes one can be in the correct position, with the other two right on top of it. Other times they are all placed on the wrong monitor. Just now, one was placed on a completely differe
Is there any way to get the app (shortcut?) names as text with the Icons in my Tabbed Docks? A number of the icons I see seem to be some weird default - it seems these are (mostly) for Windows Store apps - and I cannot distinguish them. Also, I sometimes cannot remember which icon is for which app. It's not always obvious. And my memory ain't what it used to be ;-) Yes, I know I can get this text on mouse-over. But I don't want to have to move my
ObjectDock 3.01 - no updates available Windows 11 Pro 25H2 - no updates available When I click on any of the Window buttons, nothing happens. In order to close the ObjectDock Window, I must right-click on the button on the Taskbar and select "Close".
I cannot seem to find a setting to get ObjectDock 3.0.1 the start up MINIMIZED, especially ONLY to the System Tray. I have things set up to automatically start ObjectDock when I login, and I could almost swear that this used to work, because I don't remember getting the ObjectDock window just after login on my screen until today. But I cannot figure out how I might have accomplished that.
I never noticed that, but I will look for it.
Windows 11 24H2 Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.26100.4652] According to Windows, my monitors are identified like this: [2] [3](main display) [1] All thee ObjectDocks are set to Edge: Top edge of Screen - Change monitor: Primary Monitor The other two monitors are listed as 2 and 3. "Primary Monitor" has no number, Notice the discrepancy with the moni
My mistake. I did receive a reply to my earlier post. But it didn't address the issue.
That's great! Thanks. But I said that. What I am REPORTING is that my three Tabbed Docks are being placed on the WRONG MONITOR!!!
How can I submit a Bug Ticket to Stardock Support directly? I have submitted topics here before but I haven't received even one reply. When I login, ObjectDock does create my three Locked Tabbed Docks, but it always creates them on the wrong monitor. (3 monitors.) I have to manually unlock them, increase their sizes so I can drag them, drag them to the correct monitor, changed their sizes back, and re-lock them. Also, I keep having to manually appl
I have three tabbed docks, all are pinned to the top edge of the same monitor, all are always on top, and all positions are locked. Today, after restarting my system, ObjectDock did not start. (see ** below.) So I started it manually. All three of the tabbed docks were placed on the wrong monitor. I had to unlock them, drag them to the correct positions, and re-lock them. Why?&nb
