#2 - Top of the line a year ago, and you can't run the bigger maps? Something's either not right or your computer was not top of the line :P

Thanks for the update, Frogboy! I'm one of those users who has not been able to connect to a single game (despite having played the Beta and having had success there, go figure :)). Port forwarding, all kinds of network tweaking, and just no dice. That being said, I just want you to know I'm behind you guys 100%. If this were any other company I would have written the game off, but I'm familiar with Stardock and know you guys are true to your word. Looking
Hammer slam is intentionally slow, it's not meant to hit non-stunned players. If you're paying attention, you're never supposed to get hit by a slam unless you're incapacitated in some way.
Bullet, Here's the screenshot: Just as an FYI, for Vista x64 users they will not be able to install the ATI Tray Tools software due to an unsigned driver. This is corrected in the latest beta version, which can be found h
Hi Bullet, and thanks again :) I was looking into this trying to figure out why I can't see the option (other websites mentioned it as well). According to ATI documention: This option is available for graphics cards later than ATI Radeon 9500 but earlier than ATI Radeon X1300. Strange, but as I have a 4870 it looks like I fall into the "After 9500 but also after X1300". So no dice on t
Wow, okay so something has happened that has caused Demigod (well, anything running that engine, including Supreme Commander) to go completely crazy. Basically, I load up the game and everything is fine up through the menus but as soon as the game starts... lets just say it looks like the polygons had a night out on the town, got hopped up on acid and PCP, and are nothing thrashing in a mosh pit inside my monitor. I've got polygons stretched all over the place, zigging, zagging, and morphin
I know issues have already been reported by people with the latest Demigod update, but I wanted to throw my two cents in as well. I typically connect with 2-3 other friends from the same LAN connection. Since Beta3 first released, we only very, very rarely had any kind of issues connecting but as of the last update, we are simply unable to get a single game going. One person typically will join the game fine, but by the time the next person joins, they usually end up disco
The sins one? The devs messed things up on that game purposefully with the patches because they hated people playing the game competitively online. :/
It's this type of ridiculous statement that gets people up in arms with you, because they really can't take you seriously. Innociv, I know you have the capability of providing constructive feedback because I've seen you write such posts. If I may make a friendly su
The problem for me right now is not that Sedna and QoT are ineffective. The are very effective playing as Assassins.
i'm doing the same thing, Ke5strel, and running into the same problems. I keep trying, but at the end of the day it always seems I'm better of building them as a straight assasin, or going with an assassin instead. Additional gold for generals might go a LONG way to mitigating th
Oh no, innociv returns.
I don't really think I agree. Flags seem fine as-is, in my opinion.
You need to play more with Oak. That is one badass dude. But yea, Generals have problems. My main one with them is economic, they have far too much to spend gold on compared to Assassins.
This request is already in the beta request list somewhere but maybe it's good to bring it back up. I'd love to have that too. I'm more of a WAXDYC guy. It's easyer on my fingers and I'm used to it. On this note: Is it possible to map some keys to additional mouse buttons? I know that I could do this by first mapping keys to the buttons with an extra profile in my mouse driver to but this shouldn'd really be neccessary - this is 2009 af
Just wanted to point out that Frogboy in his post stated that 3C is mainly for internal infrastructure testing.
Thanks! Looking forward to updating when I get home.
Yea, I'd like to see this too :) I dont know why they're locked.
But that's the beauty of it. I can play Regulus as a tank if I really want to, but I'll never be able to tank like Rook can with the same items. You can play to your strengths or be insane and surprising, and that isn't something that needs nerfing or capping - it's what will give this game depth, imo.
I have to agree with this. For a strategy game, you want as many options as possible. The only time
I think it's one of those things that is just very hard to read in text. When I first saw it I took it as a case of nerdrage or someone throwing a tantrum. :) That being said, they probably just didn't want the profanity in the subject line.
That sounds like either a real severe driver issue or there's a hardware problem somewhere, especially if you're seeing distortion/static on the bluescreen itself. Best of luck on getting it resolved.
Try to approach feedback with maturity next time and you'll find it will be better received.
What he said.
Given the timeframe these games are to take place in and existing War rank limitations, I don't think a cooldown on Citadel upgrades makes sense. It's true you can horde gold and dump it on upgrading to Giants, but it's already controlled by: 1. War rank, you can't rush straight for them. 2. Gold. Sure, you can hoard gold and dump it all at once, but you've been missing out on Priests / Angels the whole time, putting you at a disadvantage.
:D Making posts about deleted posts is rarely a recipe for success! I'm sure GPG gets to see the content, they were watching the thread enough to nuke it :)
I feed off of the emo in this thread. Nom nom nom!
Please do something about Sedna and Queen of Thorns heavy minion builds. Both Yetis and Shamblers, in my experience, absolutely suck. Add in extremely high mana cost for the summons (for Sedna and her yetis), it makes it even worse. If you believe a balance doesn't need to be struck here, I'd encourage you to play Sedna and focus on her Yetis or QoT on her Shambler skills and see how you stack up during a game.
Agree with you on all your suggestions, Ke5strel, thanks for taking the time to make them (it saved me from having to make a lengthy post :))
