OD 2 has work flawless for me since the start all they need to do is add themes backup and all the standard icons from 1.92 wwhich is missing in 2.0 and release the damn thing. If they want a bug free version hell then 1.92 should still be in beta just saying
I think OD2 should be release as finale skip beta 2 I have been running it since day 1 and it is rock solid. There errors listed in Windows log but program has never once crash and I use it every day. Unless you plan to add features to make it more bloated I would add a backup theme option and release. I like the slim less feature OD. I just download a update today and I don't see any new stuff so what's in the update for OD2?

Beta 1 of any software always lacks features then beta 2 adds them. Beta 3 will improve on everything and hammer down all the features that will make up the finale or retail version. Then RC 1 and RC 2 will have little tweaks. This is how most software is made so stop saying it is lacking everything it a beta. I would say if Beta 2 or 3 doesn't have all the features of 1,92 then complain. I mainly want to import my theme.

I was looking in the event viewer under windows log application for something else when I seen this: A bunch of red ! error source: sidebyside Activation context generation failed for "c:\program files (x86)\Stardock\objectdockplus2\Dock64.exe". Tab always on top issue when OD 2 starts. I have to check tab always on top and uncheck so it hide behind current window.
Who cares stop crying they release the beta and people are still upset geez. I have giving Stardock hell for the last couple years on and off over OD but they have deliver what I wanted and I am happy. They didn't promise a final release in March it a freaking Beta!!! Beta for 3 years? They talked about it for 3 years but that doesn't mean they were working on it for 3 years.
Beta means not done you are testing it and new things will be added. Thiis is how most beta programs work any how. I am betting you will be able to add your own theme in the next update or so. You paied to save $10 when it is release. Stardock explain this is not retail so why are people getting upset? If you want a finish product stick with 1.9
Thank you I love it! What you need to do is to add a welcome screen that explain how to use the new feature or have a link in settings listing them. It took me a while to learn how to change backgrounds etc a help guide would have been nice since it different from 1.9. Make it where you can uncheck it so you never see it again. I love the tabs how you can drag them around. I hope you can have the text of the tab (game, etc) on the bottom also like we do now instead of just the top. I like the apple dock flat look. I think it looks better then my friends mac. Did you add any more themes to 2.0?

I tried Winstep and forgot how busy it looked. I will wait Objectdock does what I really want.
I juist want to say sorry If OD 2 doesn't come by end of the year I will be looking at winstep because so many features are broken in vista and win 7 that the tab dock is the only thing that still works.
In some cases you will need to copy the shortcut into the startup folder cause it doesn't al;ways work if you check the box in objectdock. Use the weather gadget in windows works flawless where stardock always disconnects or won't connect for me. I don't really care if impluse crashes I just needed it once cause the cd I have OD+ is lost the time being. Strange thing downloading and installing OD+ from Impluse did't require me to copy and paste the serial. It just installed then I reloaded my dock. I am missing stack dock so I need to google that. I don't give a crap if he Jesus it shows no class. He should fix Impluse from crashing in Windows 7 64 upon closeing since he cares so much about the POS. I had to use it to redownload OD+ after a reinstall.
OD is not made by Stardock it's a side project and frogboy could give a flying leap if it ever gets done? Someone working at Stardock shouldn't tell their users to piss off. After all you all sent the email out with a date of when it would start. Since Impulse is more important just kill off OD+ stop telling people it is coming if the guy isn't allow to work on it expect for his off time.
Looks like we see another fences update before OD just saying. I do hope you are really working on OD+ 2 and not just jacking us around with a photo shop image. I agree with lanco that your other apps are really not needed in my eyes. I am not one for eye candy any way just a nice looking background is all I need so no need for windowsblinds. I hate icons on the desktop so Fences is of no use. However Objectdock does serve a useful purpose as I can put icons on
