Battlefleet Gothic

Battlefleet Gothic

I don't know if any of you guys are a fan of the mini's genera. Did anyone here ever play games workshops short lived Battlefleet Gothic.

That game was pretty fun.

Some of the stuff I liked from there.

1. Massive torpedoes

Were talking about ship killers that you had to move the ship out of the way from and could use to move other guys ships out of areas that you wanted to go into.

2. Boarding action

You could fire "boarding torpedoes" and basically take over a ship or failing at that sabotage large sections of it.

3. Ramming / Fire Ships

Some ships could ram it was pretty sweet some could also function like a big torpedo.... that was awesome.

4. The ships had sections you could knock out an engine ... that was pretty cool.

5. Ships could really blow up

As in they would implode and take down anyone who happened to be near them that was pretty awesome.

6. Some ships as i recall could use gravitic and solar wind effects

good god just stop trying to make it like the table top for the first release, its taking forever.

just change the models, edit to tooltips, and release a beta.

Basically SoaSE with different models? What would the point be then?

Granted, running oblivion on ATI's version of the FX or 4 series from nvidia was pretty bloody stupid.

Lol let the exploding begin!

Traitor!

Humans FTW!

Volus ARE sweet, but as somebody who plays mech tau and all that stuff, I can tell you that humans fight wars the right way. Mobility and firepower ftw!

Well, to be more accurate, the melting. I melted the gold bit off about five contacts. Miracle the AGP slot still worked.

It IS like the tabletop, that much is done to beta standards. The tooltips are done. The models are not. Once we have enough models not to get the mod killed by GW we WILL release it, but not until then.

I beat ME three times. Once as soldier, once as technician, and once as the same soldier again (second soldier runs are insane, especially if you can get human colossus armor to go with the spectre kit).

Tau aren't humans, take your pick!!!

I say we all just get along... and worship Nurgle :D

Yay nurglings!! (lol look at teh little nurgling copying his big brother in pose! HOW ADORABLE!)
Why do you want to worship the God of Plague? At least do something that isn't completely disgusting like Tzeentch the God of Change or Slaanesh, the God of Pleasure. Really, you can't go wrong with a god of pleasure.

Khorne is right out.

What do you mean by that? Will you still be able to get all the races in, with all ships? And to the impatient guy...... Geez, I dont see you making a mod....

because nurgle is the only god who is truley happy? look at him he is a giant jolly fat man who likes playing with his puppy-esq creatures

khorne is just angry. tzeench are all dust and barley have emotions anyway and when they do they are depressing. and well slaanesh never get happieness only pleasure then death
Reply #964 Top
Slaanesh is down-right disturbing... Tzeentch is my favorite but Nurgle is pretty close to him (lol they are my favs and they are rivals :p )Khorne is just kind of null, I don't love him, I don't hate him.

EDIT: I think everyone can agree that Barack Obama's favorite chaos god would be Tzeentch LOL. CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (we can believe in!!!!)

You also forgot Obama changes his stands on issues every five minutes.

Nurgle is happy. His worshippers aren't happy. Big distinction, and that whole plague thing isn't my cup of tea either. Tzeentch is cool, though, definitely my favorite. Only the rubric marines of the thousand sons are dust, anybody with sorcerous powers became even cooler.

Also, humans in ME are incredibly close to mech tau.

Well that's still change, just changing his views on change !

:SURPRISED: Look at the debate I started lol!

If I were to choose a Chaos god in 40k, it'd be Tzeentch because of the relationship the Sons have with my favourite sons, the Sons of Russ. For fantasy, Slaanesh is the way to go. But, regardless, note the first word I said: "If". The Emperor protects!

So... this mod, I must say, looks pretty sweet. How many souls do you guys sacrifice each day to keep it going? Is your body count greater than the organic meatbag on the Throne? *Hm, HK-47 comment there*

As many as the Emperor wills!

And yay HK-47. :D He was my favorite character in KOTOR.

CONFUSING CLARIFICATION: Every day, the essence of one meatbag is used for every lick it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop.

HK-47. I don't think I've ever wanted to rip out a droid's motivator and turn a multi-melta on it and laugh at the droid at the same time before.

C-3PO goes right past the motivator being ripped out and goes straight to target practice for Space Marine heavy bolters. Although being used for lascannon target practice by Try Again Bragg is a close second.

Note to George Lucas: Kill C-3PO already! He stopped being funny around... Oh wait. He was NEVER funny!

Try again bragg is my hero! Anybody who carries a heavy bolter with a BS 2 is worth getting on the very very good side of. IE the stock end of the bolter.

HK was a very hard choice in my kotor games, because he was awesomely hilarious but could get whiny when playing a light side character, and I couldn't refuse the chance to become a cuisinart(buffs >> chain lightning, in my book, light side blenders can pwn almost any boss in three or so turns and one hit anything else, especially in 2).
