Welcome to 7 Deadly Sins 2.5 FINAL for the latest version of Sins Entrenchment 1.053.
7DS can only be played at HIGH maximum settings. DO NOT USE VERY HIGH settings. This will cause a minidump. Also, there is an issue with Win7 64 bit. You will get crashes, load errors, or the game will not even play, with or without warning. Just keep reloading the game and trying until you actually get into the game and play. This is a Windows problem, not a problem with Sins or 7DS.

The ultimate combo mod, the "unoffical" expansion of Sins of a Solar Empire, or so it has been dubbed by the mod community.

Cruiser Squads of 3 strikecraft

Mobile Starbases -all races possess starbases that can move about the gravity well to interdict enemy forces -assault carefully.

 

12 Playable Races with their own traits that make them more unique, from being a total offensive race, to a highly researching race. Each race now has its own unique tactics of gameplay.

Trader Emergency Coalition- solely based on trade and swarming, with little military might
Corpo-Nations that have rebelled against the Trade Order. Their military might stripped, they have turned to allying themselves with various factions and hiring mercs for protection.
TEC has new Battlecruisers, mercenary contracts, and EMP shells that bypass shields to a small degree.
Trade Coalition Armada- the military arm of the Trade Order
Once the development arm of the Trade Order, they are now the last hope for the Trade Order and humanity. Their ships are bricks with extreme range railguns.

TCA has state of the art weapons on traditional capitalships plus the Dresden and Athena Dreadnought and Beta Kol Titan.
The Orion Unity- modified Orion and Advent Combine
Some Orion split with the Atlantian-Orion Combine to guide the Advent towards their ultimate evolutionary stage. TOU ships are stronger, faster and deadlier; They can even travel between worlds using the Phase Stabilizer technology of the Tempest Titan.
Ship research boosts weapon performance.

DARK FLEET- modified Vasari
The Dark Fleet is all that remains of the Vasari. Where the weak Exodus ran often and fought rarely, the Dark Fleet seeks total dominion through force of arms. Their 5 Titan ships roam looking for prey.
Play style is familiar with greater armor, firepower and destructive potential.

Imperial Armada- from Star Wars
Guided by a clone of General Thrawn, the wasteland armadas of the Imperial Armada can employ powerful Force Alchemical Technology and even unleash the power of the Executor Super Star Destroyer.
Can unlock Jedi and/or Sith Holocrons for performance boost to defenses or offenses respectively -and at the expense of the other.

Rogue Cadre- Playable, custom pirates
Rob, pilfer, and steal your way to greatness. The Rogue Cadre is a melting pot of human cultures, Advent refugees and what remains of the Vasari. They have gathered against the TCA, TOU, Atlantian-Orion Combine and TOC to free humanity from tyranny, mysticism and slavery.
Posess the Precursor Titan and The Machine -the latter capable of capturing capitalships

Arilou Vanguard- UFO race from the Star Control Games
Not being of this dimension, the Arilou do not rely on money and normal means of transport or construction. They simply spawn ships from their "motherships", and travel through Quasispace, which propels them at near instant speeds from planet to planet.

Ur-quan KohrAh Third Doctrinal Fleet- Death race from the Star Control games
Totally aggressive, the Korh-Ah are built for battle. They are all offense, and barely any defense. They focus on exterminating every race and every planet they find, and almost every ship is capable of boming from orbit. Their goal is to "cleanse" the universe of all other sentient life, anything that is not an Ur-Quan.

Ur-Quan KzerZa Third Doctrinal Fleet- Slaving race from the Star Control games
Unlike their Kor-Ah cousins, the Kzer-Za believe in a diplomatic approach, let alone old habits of enslaving entire races into their Hierarchy. They have grown from their 10,000 year old ways, and are more good than bad now.

Atlantian-Orion Combine- the ultimate race, the seeders of life (the gods)
The Combine are part of the original Creator Alliance and responsible for seeding galaxies with genetic data. The Orion are the protectors and defenders until the Atlantian vessels can be fielded. Their greatest strength is their technology, but the loss of labs remove bonuses gained from research.

Taalo Horde- Ancient Rock race, from the Star Control games
As if the universe itself groaned for a protector, the Taalo have awakened from a million year slumber only to find old allies -the Atlantians and Arilou stripping the galaxy of semi-sentient flo-metal. They are the ultimate enviromental defender with a naive sense of justice. They have incorporated alien technology into their asteroid bodies with great results.

Triad of Creation- Ancient Destroyers of Worlds, Galactic Enslavers
The Triad of Creation, the Dnyarri, Antaran and Lapis, seek to eradicate all life in the universe. They nearly destroyed the Atlantian-Orion Combine in the Ori galaxy by turning their creation -the Vasari- against them. They emerged from within the Rogue Cadre taking a sizeable portion of their population into slavery. Their fleets struck the Taalo and Dark Fleet with vessels designed for infiltration nearly crippling the two factions.

Even though I might want it and it far away your plans to incorporate every mod ever I think might not be that great. When all those mods get finished (halo,stargate,star wars etc.)

It will be a massive file to download. Though I know this won't be for a while.

IMO I think that it would be better to work with either the people working on those teams or the to make them compatible rather then together. I can understand that you want an all in one mod but when does the file size become way to big?

Also some people are already asking how to get rid of certain things so it would be much more convenient if maybe they dont like one of the big mods to not have to download it then get rid of it. MAybe they only like star wars and dont like the other ones. And even though I dont knot those mods will probably pretty big on their own.

im have to disagree with u edsa as i cant stand the fact that every tec ship in all the mods ive got still suck this game need all the addions and modds it can get its just not that good to play as it is at the momement imagane a fleet that has both starwars and startrek ships that would rock lets say a group of ten players using that it would be a deadlock for hours i know because i play empire at wars with my couison and our latest battle has been going for 6mths it is completly even half the planets each we even had a battle with 12 super stardestroyers each and we both killed each other at the same time its cool when that shit happens as u both have to build more ships and it gives both players a chance to try a different tatic to get victory this game however all the ships are the same u cant be the tec and have say an advent fleet as well as ur own it dosent work and plus the pop cap is way to low i mean 16 battleships and just over 100 other ships is no fun so this idea to make every ship from every space game is really good the files size would only mean it was worth it

I'm not trying to say its a bad thing to combine everything just saying maube have those as seperate add-ons though I hadn't thought about online as doing this would create too many versions so my idea may be flawed. Just trying to say for people that have slow internet or not so strong comps for they can have this mod be more accesible.

The thing is, when you have multiple mods, its not that easy to merge them. You have to check EVERY game file for compatibility, and there are times when multiple mods change the same file. Its a tedious process, but hey, if your up for it, suit yourself. :p

Yeah yeah, I am on Xfire, and I sent you a couple of messages, but you didn't answer. I may not be doing it right. I'm VERY new to online play. I played my first gaem last night, and got totally owned. It was 2 v 2, and the two I was playing against both joined up and put like a $5000 bounty on my head. I tried to out bid, but I ran out of money. The whole pirate fleet came, and owned me. I was playing as the Advent.

Anyway, that being said, I'll try again tonight. I'll be in lobby1, just like last night, on Ironclad. Name is tha same it is here.

I can't wait to play!

I have begun to include new planet textures for Ice, Volcanic, Gas Giant, and Terran worlds. Textures courtesy of Max Teal. These will be in version 2.0.
Since I'm not going camping until a few days from now, I have more time than I thought! SO, I might get more done than I had though before. Stay tuned...

Danman, just to get it 100% clear, im looking for your mod, but that contains absolutely everything BUT the new races. Even if some of them contain slight gameplay altering changes. So basically:

Sins Plus - by Uzii (now DANMAN)(most current update, and updates will be from me now)

Bailknight's graphical mod (ver. 1.2)

Sins Enhanced - Sky Box Edition v0.5.4 BETA - By Kcissem

Solar Sins ver.1.0 - by DANMAN (adding extra stars, anamolies, skyboxes, etc.)

Lost_WLD's WLD graphical mod

HammerSun's Mod (whatever that is :P )

Master of Orion Mod, elements from Master of Orion games - by DANMAN (whatever that is)


But whatever, since its easy to remove the races manually it doesnt really matter :)

Hmm...I just have the same error as Baleurion had before....just some kind of message "minidump" when I try to change to the mod...

I´ve installed Patch 1.05 and 7 DS 1.03d.

Running machine on XP, SP3.

Before I just dropped the whole mod in the mod folder just all the other mods before.

I am in the options menue, at the mod section.

When I select 7 DS and push the button "enable mod", my HDD is just doing some work...and 5 sec later I am on the win desktop with the message "Saved minidump" with the location of the .dmp file.

I hope that helps. Just installed a new nvidia driver after some tries. No change to that error.

No programms behind are running.

CrazyJoe, copy the contents of the 7DS mod folder into the main game folder, overwriting any existing files (backup if u wish). That worked for me :)

you can do this, but try this first:
did you install the 1.3d patch, or the 1.3d full? Tell me how many folders are in 7DS, there should be 8 for the full version.

Danman, a final question :P Big mod = big questions
Could a future version (2.0 ?) contain a tiny change if enough people desires it?

:P They look so nice ingame (can they occur around rogue stars btw?), but its a pity they dont appear more often. Will change it myself for my own use now (editing every planetfile, ouch!), but yeah i figure this is something that may have been overlooked since its such a tiny insignificant thing really.

Anyway i noticed u do have diff ringchance values, but alot of the new planets have 0% chance. So i just upped them all by .05
Makes a nice change ingame =)

hey for the marza when its missles hit another ship there is this big explotion. is there a way to remove it? it gets in my way of viewing the battle on top of that it doesn even damage the ships around it so that graphical enhancment is kinda usless to me.

So am I the only person that is experiencing a lot of DT crashes when using this mod.. Sorry there are too many pages to sift through all of them. There does not seem to be anything similar between when the crashes occur other than in most cases if happens whenzooming/rotating the map. I am running Vista Home Premium 64 bit with 4 GB of memory and newest catalyst drives on an HD3850.

Yes, you got it. Then delete the race entity names if you don't want the new races.

Also, I love you suggestion about the rings. I love rings too. I tried them on the Rogue Stars, but they did not look right, so I set the chance to 0%.

Glad you got it working. For some reason I have yet to discover, the regular mod installation does not work for everyone. I don't know why. but it works for most people. I am glad you got it going.

This may be addressed in 2.0, when I merge the new bailknight graphic mod in.

I love the music, the band, and the theme. "Time to play the Game" seemed perfect to open out the best PC game going, as well as this mod. If you don't like it, simply delete the OPENINGINTRO song from the Sound folder of the mod.

UPDATE:
After some much discussions with FourAcesII, it has been brought to my attention that the Rogue need to be nerfed a bit. That being said, I am changing the COMPUTER CONTROL research to counter them. It will also allow for taking back modules, since you cannot do this currently in the 1.3d version.

Also, some of their stats are a little out of balance, so that will be fixed too.
