Problem is when people think that it is the most effective way to do things and it then trickles down to every other aspect of life. Such as the woman who felt that her not getting the burger she wanted warrented a 911 phone call (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ12Ry-hD6I). Being constructive, giving well though out
Look, in the games I play the absolute overwhelming percentage of the time quits are because of rage or connection issues . Rage is being dealt with; throw that out the window. Connection issues are also being dealt with (global fixes, ban players with known problems in your list). So all that's left are "miscellaneous" walk-the-dog type of quits that happen so insignificantly they aren't
Whining and complaining had always been the way human society had pushed forward, and form the basis of the democracy and politics. If there's no love from the community no one would have cared and whined. Because people cared they complained. So, what's wrong with whining? I can see no disadvantages. Praise is good ocassionally but too much praise is bad. Too much complain is never bad. Nothing is perfect and there are always ways for improvement.
What things do you think need to be "fixed" as opposed to things you wish would be added? The only issue that I'm aware of that needs to be addressed is the problem in pantheon where players will quit when they see who they are playing and leave the remaining players with unbalanced teams. That will take some doing obviously but other than that, I'm not aware of any serious "bugs" or "handicaps" in the game. This has got to be
I agree with Colonel_Jessep If someone have killed you repeatedly, base on current Demigod nature of zero sum game, it is almost for certain that you won't be able to kill that someone to avenge. Unless the revenge system works for 1 kill onwards.
Skirmish? Skirmish are supposed to be offline games and you can't "spy" without user consent since they haven't really login and therefore the game exe is not suppose to exchange any info with the Internet.

This is the only game I've ever had such problems with, I've made multiple posts in Connectivty Problems, Tech Problem, Frogboys thread etc etc and nothing, no help at all. It's not necessary your fault that your ex dumped you. It takes a while for the girl to work out if she really liked you in the first place. It's not that she was deeply in love at heart and suddenly discovered that she doesn't like you anymore. It doesn't work like that.
I say this is a great idea. But that connection index may not be a good indicator. What if someones sim speed (hypothetically) is -10 yet their ping is 10 and their bandwidth is REALLY high. This may be able to bump them down to a good connection index just into the good range when they will lag the game like crazy. I'd say put a connection index to the worst thing. Lets say -10 sim speed is a 0 on a scale of 0 to 1000 and 0 sim speed would be

Some combinations of Demigod served on a combo is really very powerful in my opinion. Regulus + Unclean Beast Any combinatios of Maim, Maim mines, MoB with Dieseased Claws make the enemy a virtual standstill Grasp + Mines annoy hell out of people Frenzy for UB and Reg with mines can usually result in a kill in virtually no time, if someone managed to escape, snipe will usually be enough to top that off Sedna + QoT <li
I do agree having a hotkey to target self is beneficial.
If you see desync just quit the game. There is absolutely no point in playing a desynced game because what's on screen may not be what's really happening. And the game is void.
I have never been able to play Patheon after the patheon restarted. I can went into games but none of them (very few of them I could get in anyway, so only 1 or 2) were perfect. 3vAIs, 2vAIs, 3v1. Typical symtoms: A: 1 guy stuck on not connected while everyone else could connect. the following happens: It stucks there without ejecting the failed person in time. It ejects too late and by the time a new one joins, someone had quitted out of
So SD where are you please :/ Frogboy?
I have already proposed a combined systematic measure of Ping, Simspeed and Bandwidth in the post here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/355647

You can't control when it goes off on its merry feeding run, so you can't exactly coordinate this "free harassment" you're concerned about. The other team gets a free ride because they're no longer going to be fighting against 2 human players, how much more advantage do you want? In fact I'm not even sure its free harassment, conside
A lot of people are quiting at loading screen not because of teammate matching, it's because the friggin' load screen takes a minute or more and no indication of what it is doing. The connection info shows everyone connected yet sometimes the loading screen froze for ages, until someone give up and quits.
Crashed in Patheon matching. I have not had a single playable Patheon games after 6 tries today (Used to be able to). I can play custom games fine. The 7th try resulted in a crash. Report attached. Used to be able to Play Patheon. The 5th game showed eveyone connected in connection info, yet game load screen was excessively long (over 1min and a half). It froze until people start quitting, by then it launched into the game then to found out it's 3 human vs 3AI. 2nd game we had 2v2 con
Keep the AI and remove gold and exp I'd say
ah you are right. Still thinks items with long cast time and cooldown should be exempt though.
I am suprised you even allowed the game to start in lobby.
Interrupting items would be fairly pointless if it didn't induce the cooldown on them, because then you could just use it again right after it was interrupted. Except this time, your item cast would succeed because my interrupt is on its cooldown.
No not really. If an interrupt is successful and I was being ganked, it doesn't make it less useful. Cast time on most item except potions aren't zero. If you fail to use t
Interrupting item use such as teleport scroll by abilities such as UB's grasp will not only just cancel the cast, but also induce cooldown time (very long for items usually). I don't think this is intended because of the fact that casting teleport scrolls to a friendly building when the building is destroyed will just cancel the cast without incurring cooldown penalty. Why would there be a cooldown if the cast is unsuccessful?
