You might not have mana to summon the idols. Also if you sold the idol, the icon would still be there but you can't use it. Make sure you have mana and have the idol item in your inventory.
The stats doesn't count if 1) Host leave the game before final score screen 2) All members of any team leave the game before final score screen (likely to be the losing team) I have had a great game yet the SoB host decided to leave just before the score screen to save his winning streak.
I use firefox yet the quote doesn't work for me
The host Hornet323, quitted just after the announcer say Forces of Dark had triumph. This lead to the game not registering
I was knocking out one fortress, which drew both of the enemy demi's away from our citadel...this allowed my teammate to recapture both flags on our side of the map.
Your enemy team was silly. They should realise that they have 3 fortress left and should rush the last fortress and force you to defence. By going back to defence they gave you chance for a comeback.
nice ideas, I'd also like to see some creeps that can repair towers and forts. In contrast maybe some mad suicide bombers who charge buildings.
Just employ Serious Sam type monsters, with the iconic [aarhhhhhh] for the suicide bombers.

I actually think ability damage should be percentage based (of max health) rather than absolute.
More options is always better. If you joined a game with that setting and you don't like it, you are free to setup your own game or join another.
It sounded to me a firewall problem. But could be something bigger if you've swapped router.
Trebuchets should do 0.5 sec stuns :) Now that's worth getting. I agree that getting lv1 gold, perhaps lv 1 building health, then save for creeps is standard faire. Any more gold is usually better spent on DG equipments. I propose lowering the cost of the armoury, damage, building firepower, health upgrades later in the chain. As well as fix the currency upgrades above lv 1.
"Framing " is a favourite tactic of spin doctors. If you want to sway someone when they choose between two options, a good tactic is to be negative about the option you don't want them to pick as opposed to be positive about the option you want them to pick. People whose preference was expressed in terms of a opposition are less likely to modify their opinions. (Political Psychology, vol.26, p.553)
A good guess is how many strategic decision that it plans ahead, like how many moves you anticipate ahead in chess.
OMG WTF BBQ - Specifically refer to TB's Fire moves (Fire nova, Fire ball). You are either 1) being killed by such move by the enemy 2) your teammate use it when there's no one to damage, e.g. fire nova on ground.
There's some confusion in the original post. You can install and uninstall as much as you want. Activation has to be done if you put new hardware in your PC and that limit is at 3. Ubisoft support over at the German forums has already stated they just have to be contacted and they'll reset that if needed. I too am unhappy they chose this method and hope they won't in the future. That isn't going to stop me from enjoying probably the best city-building game I've seen in years.[/quot
Ok. Line breaks didn't work above either.
With specifically to this thread: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/357497/ It appeared other people are replying fine. It looks like it's just me. My 2nd reply with test test Test are supposed to have line breaks, as well as the main topic. Also, I can not use any quotation or reply buttons even after refreshing the browser. Using Firefox 3.0.11
It wasn't an interesting enough topic for two bumps within 8 minutes of the original post to fish for a response. But since you're trawling, I'll come trolling:
Please do not accuse people when you didn't read. I wasn't bumping the thread (see my 1st reply). I have experienced nothing but issues with the forum with this thread. Line returns didn't work. Quotation button didn't work. Other than that thanks for your reply.
test Test test
hmm what's with the forum. Line returns are broken. Well hopefully people can read that.
I was thinking of pre-ordering this game on Amazon UK. then I read the reviews (well customer comments, since the game aren't out yet). Apparently, a user posted about the DRM there as being: 1. From a little known company called Tages 2. 3 install limit 3. Invasive root-level monitoring software included 4. Saps CPU resources even when game is uninstalled 5. It's an activation server dependent game. When Ubisoft pulls the plug on the DRM servers, you lose the game. If true, I a
Mexican hat works for most demigods. Sedna needs a new hair style in my opinion.
