I had a time I got kicked first 3 second I joined, even though I saw good ping from others. Ping gets a while to settle and I feel sorry for you. People are just impatient.

Thanks. I didn't know about it being damage based. I first thought it is invincible because I've seen QoT stepping on 8 mines consecutively without dropping the shield.
Generally I do not try to solo a shield QoT or Sedna as Regulus.
I wasn't trying to solo. Most good QoT players stick around a teamate like UB. Even with a teamate of mine we found it very hard to counter.
Really? I thought achievement system online and offline are separate. Are you sure?
I had a few games with QoT spamming shield on her and on her teammates, which made my Regulus quite useless. Struggled to find a way to nullify the long shield effect. I had to resort to using Mark of Betrayer on her. Was it just coincidence that every time I use MoB on her before she casts shield, I could break her shield (or see her shield breaks) at much shorter time (ranging from 1-5 seconds). Without using it, everytime her shield holds up for at least 3 times longer. IIRC MoB shou
Snipe lv 1 is already quite weak (550dmg on max range, 350 close range). Most smart players retreat well before 1000 hp if enemy team has Regulus. Kill steal? You'd rather have the team gain 1000G than 1700G?? Regulus need all the money he can get. He's nigh impossible to stop with right items. With enough money at end game you'd be glad he's on your team and you invested in him.
May I suggest the game keep track of internal benchmark on performance. Most 3v3 games I play, I emphasise the word 'most' here, ended up with a single or two person with simspeed 0 or lower; even those with perfect ping. Ideally the match makring system should take care of 3 things: ping, simspeed and bandwidth There are a lot of people ignoring recommended requirements on this game. Also I kind of remember before this game was released someone sa
Well done, Captain Obvious.
If it's that obvious out of 3 games I played with no ping problem those people with slow sim speed wouldnt' have joint the game. And I've never seen hosts in custom games say good PC only, while most specified 150 ping or less only. You seem to overestimate other's ability to read minimum requirement and recommended requirement on the game and distinguish between the two.
May be it's just a locational problem? I have not seen any people with ping higher than 150 when I join EU games from UK.
OP if you have only played straight AF AA build I suggest you try to play mine build with MoB as well. That's also a fun build to play. I actually had been solely playing wth mines, recently I tried to play straight AA especially with Blade of the Serpent which I can recently afford. With that you free up some cash at the start for gauntlets (since you virtually don't need mana items anymore, i.e. helms).
Demigod general section is gone. There is no listing at all. The forum is very very slow for me (from the UK)
To the OP Regulus is good but definitely not OP. He's very very weak at early game and will lose most 1v1 depending on favor items. Not until level 7 or so he starts becoming useful. If you see one farming early on you can chase him and generally annoy him. UB's split works great on him early game. While Regulus has potential at late game, same is true for many other DGs. UB is untouchable with speed enhancement and inner beast late game for example.
QoT can be OP with proper teamate support. Just played a game QoT is constantly casting shield on herself and a partner non-stop. There was on average only 5 seconds of interval to damage enemy demigod. I found that impossible to counter as Regulus without interrupt or mana draining skills.
If your PC is incapable of running 3v3 AIs at at least one simspeed consistently (See your score panel to check your simspeed), please do us a favor, no matter what gigabit Internet connection you have, 50 ping or less, it will lag the hell of out of others. I have joint 3 3v3 custom games when hosts specified 150< ping. Everyone did have 150 or less ping, but games all lagged. There was always 1 or 2 people runnign at 0 or -1 Simspeed, dragging everyone to a snails
First 2 items to get: Sacred Helm Banded armour Then I usually get Velmish Faceguard as well for mana boost required to use mine and AF. After that I get either Heart of Life or Narmoth's Ring. I tend to get HoL first because it saves you so many time and so much time (pun intended). Then I get Narmoth's Ring, combined with Charm of Life gives me quite a good health boost. With those you generally have no problem against other DG if you

Got the 50% off coupon an hour ago. Although I can't convince my friend to buy it. And I am in midst of exam. So I'd probably not be able to use the coupon.

The only things I really would like to see fixed after multiplayer is the stuck/blocking/pathing stuff and the AI is horrible this makes singleplayer unplayable. If your going to release a team based game and allow AI, AI should really work together and or with humans also. This can be accomplished through AI responding to human ping on map and such. It seems

Have a shared network in your residence with routers? If you have a good router, it may offer a service called QoS within its configuration page. QoS stands for quality of service. Some routers that support QoS allow you to configure traffic to have higher priority than other traffic within your network. For example, on my 3Com OfficeConnect router I can configure traffic in ports 6032-6112 (What Demigod uses iirc) to have higher priority (EF for efficient forwarding) over HTTP (norma
