I like it when you play with noobs and still win, though I hate it when they totally ignore your advice, which usually leads to me calling them names after a while, as I wouldn't mind if they ragequitted coz the AI would be better... (Can't believe I said that). We had a game last night I think, there was a noob rook on the enemy team who died quite a lot, but was pretty good at portalling out. We finished, then had a rematch and we messed with the teams to balance them out a bit, and

I know when I reg I end up speed stacking myself and doing MP then some HP/Armour. Usually keeping out of range of enemies, sniping and mining. Mining lets you level pretty quick and snipe is awesome at finishing off players or just assisting teammates. I've found that the only way to take down a smart reg for UB would be to gain a sudden boost in speed and run him down or ambush him. They usually have low HP/Armour and don't really hit hard up close. Make sure you always run with eno
Well, if you saw someone looking for a team, whom you know what not a team player and instead seemed to exploit bugs as well as ragequit and be a tool in general, wouldn't you post there to warn others? The best way to find a team is to play with random people, act nice/polite, play good, and you will find other good nice people who would likely enjoy teaming with you.
What happens when you hit Warscore 10, buy giants, then spend all your warscore dropping you down to lv1 warscore? It just doesn't work. You can't have the normal citadel upgrades which are reliant on a warscore level, then have another store where you can spend warscore thus dropping your levels. If you make it so the level sticks, then people will get giants then spam all their warscore, making it more of a race to warscore 10. BTW haven't you see 5500 HP giants smashing a base apar
Take a look at the other demigod ideas and follow their format, provide detailed information about the general feel of the DG a well as its abilities and any pros/cons it would have.
I have a somewhat similar idea to parts 1 and 2 at http://forums.demigodthegame.com/362335/page/3/#2352737 No new screens, just modifications of existing ones. I prefer the team selections to form into one section when doing a random team game just so players know that it is one, without having to jump into the options section.
Q: What do you think of the idea of splitting custom games into two sections: random team and arranged team ? Would it be possible to have a ranked/unranked lobby or option for the game host to select? A: I like the idea. But here’s where things get dicey in all these ideas: In Demigod, anything that requires new UI is particularly expensive to do. If I could come up with some nice marketing spin around that fact I
I've played RTS games for a long time, ever since original C&C came out. When I got online, I enjoyed winning often, but found it to eventually kill the fun of the game to me. I'm a very competitive type person and love to win, but only when it is a hard match. I don't like to win by miles and smash someone or get stomped from the start and lose by a very large distance. There are those out there who are pure stat whores. They play for a K/D ratio (or win/lose ratio for DG). They
i must of misstyped by extra attack i ment wh she hits she has a chance to hit twice its not extra attk speed but i will take your notes and se what i could try
Even with the chance of 30% to do double auto attack, that is basically the same as critical. For instance on an Oak, you can get him to hit stuff around 500 damage auto attack, you can then give him crit chance via slayers wraps which then m
Like ZehDon said, and like I've done to countless LE, nothing like forcing an LE to mist, and tossing 3/6 mines under that spot. I've seen it used often as an escape, but it isn't that effective. As a minion type buff/attack it won't be too effective really. If I saw an LE in mist in a lane I'd camp the lane, cap the flag, mines all under the mist and wait for him to come out.
Jarek, be aware that games that are already running don't show in the list, only those that are still waiting for players to join show up. The community I play with is small but I get quite a few games in at night and it should be the same for you. If you can't find a game, create one yourself, there are usually quite a few peop
@ Geryak Early game, yes he is not too strong with limited damage and mana. Once he gets a mana item and some priests, then he starts to steamroll and it only gets worse from there. He gets regen bonuses which they usually stack with items as well giving them insane regen. The other night I had an Oak, I went to the middle then right flag where I met an LE, I fought him and made him pull back a few times. I used the favor that gives you 33% max HP back to keep healed up and he
I think some of its abilities are too strong. Also, please provide more information, such as cast times, recast times, mana cost and the range/size of the attacks, even if you just relate it to an existing demigod.
2: Dark Flame - Release the Cursed power within her right eye buring everything around her with a flame of darkness.
Imagine if you were fighting in a group of NPCs which often happens especially in mid/late game. Agreed. We should hopefully see a new section soon for people to post all their mod ideas, where they can ask for help or get opinions etc.
I think that this would be cool, as long as it was still the same sort of gameplay as Demigod but with an all new style, with a new set of maps and demigods or whatever you'll call them. So many of the characters may resemble demigods like a Sniper compared to Reg or a giant hulking alien that resembles the rook etc. If your going to change the theme to sci-fi you should make sure the characters are new and fit universe of your mod. I have soo many ideas for a sci-fi sort of demigod,
1. Dargoth - Dark Sorcerer (Dark General) A. Dargoth is a Dark Sorcerer. He is a general for the Forces of Darkness. He can summon minions and has quite a few debuffs and attacks, he is a mix of a support character and offensive. B. http://forums.demigodthegame.com/362156
Its impossible. The game exists an a peer 2 peer environment. The game is not hosted anywhere.
That is wrong Polynomial. There is a quote from GPG/Stardock somewhere, and it was basically it'd take quite a bit of downloading and time to get it back going if it does work. Basically that game would still be connected to their network if only to track the game for stats etc. Basically you'd have to be able to find the game, rejoin it
I made changes Shadow Grasp is now Shadowy Field and Shadowy Grip Grasp of the Shadows . Fear of Shadows has had damaged changed to 6/12/18/24, which seems more in line with other generals. He now summons 2/3/4/6 shadow minions. Just remember he is likely to stack a few mana items to keep his spells going. The primary usage of the shadow minions is not quite for damage but the debuff, so to help slow down DGs or even sending t

And wasn't quite sure how the damage boost for minions would stack up, I thought it wasn't too bad because it is limited number, and also the fact that they also get some debuffs with them. I'll lower the damage a bit. As for your guy, all the speed debuffs will make it easy to hunt people down in the hunte
Ah, the obligatory "QoT is fine" post. Sorry, she's not. Play as her some and you'll see that early game shield is about all she has going for her. She's squishy, weak, slow, and insanely mana dependent. Most of her skill tree is completely useless. She is inarguably the worst late-game demigod.
Please read all my posts geez. I didn't say she is fine, I said a few times her other skills need some buffing. [quo
Sometimes depending on the map and game type, one of the flags in the middle area may have gold mines on them, but across most maps, the middle flags have XP buff, Max HP Buff and Max MP Buff, these can mean the difference in dying/living. All the flags have tooltips which state what they do. The other thing flags do is allow you to teleport to them using the scrolls so you can get around the map easier or ambush enemies.
Well I must run into a lot of pro QoT, they seem to be able to stand their own, shield up, spike aoe to kill my armour then spike wave to slow me, then auto me down. If we boost the HP of shield to scale better, it should lose out in other areas, like recast/cost/max active shields. If I went my max DPS Oak build, I can hit for 500 with crits of 1000, thats on basically unmitigated. So if we boost shield to 2000hp at max, I still need to hit 3.5 times or so to break it, during that ti
Summary Dargoth is a Dark Sorcerer. He is a general for the Forces of Darkness. He can summon minions and has quite a few debuffs and attacks, he is a mix of a support character and offensive. I don't really like the idea of buffing the shield further, and it doesn't make sense to have it reflect slows or have mitigated damage because of armour. The shield goes around the DG and blocks incoming attacks, it doesn't reflect them, so why should it reflect slows, and the attacks don't even reach the armour, so why should it mitigate it. The shield seems like the most used skill for the QoT since it seems to work alright, though I do get sick of seeing a 3v3 with a QoT stacks ma
A week or so ago I had a come back on lev. They had an Oak, Rook and QoT. We had my Reg, a TB and a UB. We got smashed the whole early/mid game, we didn't manage many kills and they had killed a number of our towers and had a few levels up on us. Their rook was smashing parts of our base defenses and getting the side flags. They had around double the kills we had and had a lot of items which helped them smash us back. They eventually got to our citadel defenses and were almost to the
