What is it?

Cow and I still managed to pull a victory out even though there were 2 regs. I guess 2 regs isn't worth rage quitting over, but the game was alot of fun after you raged.
If you hadn't of crashed we would've won. You are dead to me.
I disagree with your method of playing oak. Surge of faith at level 5 should make you capable of winning, if you are getting spirits instead of surge of faith....I'm sure there are plenty of people that will support that build, but I find it wasteful. Also, get pent first not shield.
UB can only be decently countered by 3 Demigods. Oak, Sedna and Lord Erebus. (3 of the 4 toughest DGs... guess who the other is) Although QoT can use bramble sheild if she even goes close to UB she is screwed Regulus doesnt have the health or attack to defend himself even if he sits and shoots from afar The Rook will have his hammer slam stunned and wont be able to run away although he should be able to defeat a U
I always play with friends. There is always at least one long term friend on my team when I play DG. We both have clan tags in our name so people immediately accuse us of being "premade" and do not want to play with us. It's not that we want to play against pugs, we absolutely enjoy playing against other teams, but we can never find them. Yet people join our games and accuse us of being "premade" and tell us to go find another premade! I would love too! My
This is not a problem for me, because I only play with my friends. I always have at least one friend on with me. I think the solution to your problem is to make a friend, just make sure they are good at games.
I agree, the priests and angel nerfs were an unexpected bonus. Thanks SD!
Deleted for double post madness. Btw, Maker
Stats are broken last I checked, but anyways I only play custom see below. Rank: <a id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1__PlayerStats_ctl01__Rank" href="http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/ranki
All I can say is that we have different playing experiences and I really can't convince any of you of my point since they are so diametrically opposed. And yes, I really am that good and the reason I posted this is because the game is a joke when my team plays Oak with Sedna and it is baffling that it isn't obvious that Oak is the best demigod out there even without Sedna backup. In my opinon the Demigod community is woefully underskilled in general compared to other RTS's, so I guess i
From these responses it just seems like people don't know how to play Oak. I have never lost to a spirit oak, it's only useful vs rook towers really. Yes he starts to become really good at level 5 or 6 with surge of faith, if this is surprising to you then you aren't playing him right...but if you think minion build Oak is really really good then well there's little hope in having an intelligent conversation in the first place about this. Maybe in a couple months it will b
Quote from the May Status report: Q: is overpowered. A: No it isn’t. Please explain to me how Oak is not overpowered. All I want to know is, what is the counter to a good Oak player using Pent, Shield, and Surge of Faith. The speed boost from Surge of Faith lets Oak catch anything in the game. Pent slows down fleeing opponents, shield lets him
The only general that would ever consider taking these skills is QoT. Anyone that does as Oak, Sedna, or Erebus either don't know how to play them or isn't actually playing to win, rather to mess around. Pros know minion skill is worthless and only for fun.
Frogboy: "As you can see from the stats linked above, Sedna is actually the weakest Demigod in terms of % of wins and the Vampire Lord is right in the middle." Are you sure the Pantheon stats are reliable? I don't think the stats page works correctly (half of my games with my teammate show him being on the losing team instead of on my team)so I'd question the patheon page statistic as well. Also, doesn't the Pantheon include AI in the
It seems like targetting other demigods requires what I call a confirm click. This is a click where you click on the target and then hold your mouse there for a bit long confirming where the click went. If you click and move your mouse immediately after clicking (and after the cursor goes away) the ability will not go off and it will be bugged. When I use a confirm click my Sedna heal and QoT shield always go off. Is it true that some abilities require a confirm click?
Mode changing with QoT and Torchbearer is extremely painful in this game. Too many times I have to hit the button multiple times to change modes before it actually goes through. This happens more in laggy games than non-laggy games. QoT is particularly unbalanced when she can't mode switch with ease, so fixing this would relieve the balance issues and makes QoT competitive. Sometimes I can get QoT to mode switch without stopping, but most of the time mode switching cau
Erebus needs a nerf, but not a nerf to bite damage. Mist needs to be fixed. It should not allow any mana gain, it should not remove all negative affects. Bite should not slow.
Problem with lobbies are awesome.
Disabling the entire UI, including allowing others to quit when someone times out is either lazy or poorly thought out. I assume you are fixing this?
The Erebus nerf is bad, because it nerfs all the wrong things. Bite is not OP because of the damage, it's OP because of the slow and armor reduction, and instant cast. Only the armor reduction is getting a nerf. Bat swarm is OP because bite is instant cast. Bat swarm + bite = you're dead. Bat swarm should not work on crucible for circumventing the back of the map, the teleport items don't. Poison blood is OP because it gives too much HP regen, shoul
Towering rook can beat them, but you have to lure them into the towers by looking like you're going to die. Vamp + towering rook. Get them into towers, stun with vamp. They will shield/heal the offending person. Make sure vamp has minions, focus fire hero, boulder roll prior to them getting out of towers. Towers + vamp dps + rook dps + minion army + 2 stuns = dead hero. There's your solution. Obviously it is hard and takes teamwork, but they'r
I'm interested to see if anyone has found any really good combos with multiple demigods so far. One I've found that works really nicely is a towering rook + queen with bramble shield. Works great for tower pushing and the rook towers will keep enemy DGs from being able to chase. Starts to fall apart late game due to poor tower scaling, however with this plan on winning around level 11 and having a hefty lead the majority of the time. Another is Sedna + regulas with
Maybe none? When I first started playing this game it seemed like Regulas was horribly overpowered. Then I saw the Dog and I was like, wow, the Dog is overpowered. Now things have changed again and it seems like Sedna is ridciulously overpowered. But then I play against a Rook and Queen in a 2v2 and they steamroll us while we're playing vamp and Dog by ignoring/not engaging our heroes and just clearing towers to our citadel...leading me to believe all heroes have a win
The review is by no way fair for a number of reasons. Yes it is a very valid point that to release a multiplayer centric title you would expect the game to be in a very workable state from release - HOWEVER - we are also aware that unpredictable things can really impact that.
It's called open beta. Moreover, the problems that existed with hosting custom games existed in beta and were not fixed or addressed, it was just hoped that they wouldn't be an issue
