Could it be:
cos you did want something that fails even more
in response to Frogboy saying:
Tell me, why do you think we didn't use GPGNet?
Looking at that statement, I agree with Frogboy that you are an idiot. Plus, considering how much importance Frogboy puts on treating customers well, I am quite sure he took your saying they used a bad system on purpose as a personal attack. Maybe he shouldn't have called you an i
Okay, I'll agree that your logic is messed up and that sums it up. This is a strategy-based RPG game meant to use your heros to distroy the other team (whether it be by killing them off or distroying there structures). This is not a RTS game where you actually use strategy to build your own base in order to distroy the enemy base. Lets keep those 2 things in mind here as my reference is to the way they have this game developed currently and not your dulsional asp
WOW ... first of all im the originator of this post so like half the post you made is anger pointed in the wrong direction .
Sorry about that, fixed my post.
and the second thing is hes not trying to insult the game , hes saying that a game he has played for years could be outdone by this and he has some suggestions .
And I am saying that the absolute statement he made was incorrect. Your response had nothing to do with what I said
plz note how this is not a standard rts and you dont manage your macro/micro as much , starcraft is superior to the game made with a lot of different pros/cons to each unit and a huge amount of strats applied to each race ... its also superior due to player skill having more of a say in the game ... and after all this 2 more races in starcraft that was balanced would have made it into an even better game
Not relevant to what I said
Your character selectio
Doesn't take a lot of digging to find out the judge is a member of Swedish Association for Copyright. It's not that far a stretch to say there's a conflict of interest there. At the very least, he should have stepped aside in favor of another judge.
Worse, from the same article I linked above:
“Three lay judges were appointed,” said Judge Norström one week before the trial. “On a question from me to the lay judges on whethe
1. Your character selection is very small. For this type of game, it really should be much larger or at least twice it's size so that it doesn't feel like it's bland after playing it for several days. It almost reminds me of the original Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter which is not a good thing since this is supposed to be something much better.

the judge admitted he was a member of copyright-protection organizations.
Well, it does explain how the Pirate Bay got found guilty with the prosecution's total lack of competance(and solid evidence from what I have read). I don't think any honest person, even the most anti-pirate ones, can deny that this is a conflict of interest and that there needs to a retrial with a neutral judge. Edit: Just did a little checking and <a href="http:/

I wish Gamestop the worst of luck restocking. It would be nice if Stardock didn't let Gamestop have any more copies until they apologize, but I don't see that as being relalistic.

To the OP: Just be glad you were not in the beta where Oak's Spirits had over 2k+ health. Also, it sounds like you need to play an Oak or Erebus against a good Regulus player from the beta. That should get rid of all your complaints about them being overpowered and better than any assassin.
Okay - let's presume the rate is 0%, can we get better games?
As it is Stardock ignores the pirates when making their games. So while having no piracy would be nice, I don't see it causing a noticable increase in game quality. Stardock would be happy for sure, but I think the biggest result would be Stardock taking more risks on the types of games it publishes/develops.

LEGOs are win and awesome in physical form. (Is it a bad thing that I have almost completely figured out how to build it just by studying it for less than 20 seconds?)

I still don't like how they toned it down a bit when they made Supreme Commander (worst part was when they added the artificial limitations on what weapons could target).
EDIT: the ruling was made on an existing somewhat new law. As prior to that law it would not be possibly to convict them for such a crime. There was much debate as to what actual information was stored on piratebays servers as the judge wanted to ascertain that without the hash stored on pb's servers the transfers would not be possibly. Without using someone else's torrent or some other mean offcource. But no beyond that the court was not very interested in the technology. For the ben

Ideally have a full field of 6 mines already set up that you can retreat over. If you have the mine ability ready to use by the time he has triggered at least 3 then toss them out into his path, that is a potential of 9 mines hitting him within less than 2 seconds. If you have good speed and dps then you should be able to get him while he is retreating, if you can't keep up or he gets into his base then snipe. Rinse and repeat for all future encounters.

Nice post Malanthor. Rook being the way he is now is much better than what he was like in the beta. Hammer Slam had a much larger AOE, was not targeted on the ground but on Demigods(basically imposible to avoid), comboing a Boulder Roll with a Hammer Slam was just about an insta-gib(Or close enough that it didn't matter). Plus there was the 'Snipe Bounce' problem that made Rook the bane of Regulus players. I think it is safe to say that all the largest balance problems were found in th

This brings me back to beta 2 when the mine cap was 12 . . . . On one hand I can see why they reduced it, on the other hand I miss killing full health rooks with ease(set up all 12, stand in front of them, then used the teleport cloak to get behind them right before the rook was in range to hit me). Here is something to add: Demolition Time! Towers and other structures trigger mines a short time after they are placed. At higher levels targeting t
This game runs "ok" but i'd say FPS is a bit low if I could see it.
So you think the FPS is low, but you don't know what it is? Try installing the demo of Fraps, it has a FPS display while a game is running. Also, if you don't like how ir runs, there is always the option to turn your settings down. After all games are about gameplay first and graphics second. Just to be sure, you do have the latest drivers right?

Frogboy does a lot. I remember one time I saw him giving advice on the 24th of December. I think the problem is that Demigod does a check for updates when it is launched, as it checks the same server used to play the result is pirates having a negative effect on legal users. The pirates can't play online, put together all the small checks they make add up.
Basically a similar thing happened with Hellgate and the game died before they could fix it
Hellgate is not a good example for several reasons. One is that Flagship had no idea how to run a good company(who ever thought of mixing free play, subsription play, and a big one time fee needs to smacked, hard). The second is not having enough for subscription people and founders at the start to justify it(they should have held off on the founders offer and subsrip

Also there is the issue of some ISPs filtering/blocking peer to peer, so that could be a problem. Plus the whole 'beta server overload' problem(stupid Gamestop) so Stardock had to put the main servers up under pressure. Check out some of the posts by Frogboy and you can see the problems caused by Gamestop's early release. Would it have been perfect if everything had gone as planned, no. But it would have been a lot better.
