[quote]In fact with that matchup i think the game should have lasted about 25-30 or so minutes. You go HP build, AoE the rook's towers while they are busy with your creeps and thus prevent the rook from making a garden of them. Push them back up in the corner, then one of you keep them busy there, while the other warps into their base and caplocks their flag once you hit warscore 10. Better than L4D is wishful thinking. But it's decent.
Soul Power? Really? You want to make him even more Assassin like. Change Soul Power to something that's actually appropriate for a General - even a (smaller?) weapon damage buff in a radius would be better.

[quote who="FlyByU" reply="16" id="2201260"]LOL thats funny DatonKallandor because if they had all that on a floppy and the HD's back then were very small a few games would have filled up the HD with just the copy protection you say it had. Since you don't even seem to be aware of the existance of that copy protection...
Then you'll have a problem. That's the nature of online play.
Although you could take your CD out of the tray after launching (if you chose the full install) most of the time. Back then, you had to make a tradeoff - do you want to install those huge 100 mb games and need no CD or do you want to save your precious space and use the CD.
Well, it would impact mostly P2P. RTS mostly, some download sharing software (Blizzard's Downloader comes to mind - that's one finnicky piece of P2P), etc. . Many people reporting problems with the same thing, while having the same provider is a big clue.

To keep the games in sync you have to be sending that data to everyone anyway... it's not like there would be much extra to send that isn't being sent already. The engine doesn't work like this. The trick with assassins is to use their high burst damage early and often, and to get one or two AOE spells to take care of minions. For instance, with TB, I usually start out with Fireball/Deep freeze, but as the game progresses I use Frost/Fire Nova to take care of minions in one hit

Not only is Erebus himself having those issues (although they're a very minor niggle - a quick second click or minor move order will solve it), his minions are still broken. Only they're far more broken - they simply ignore attack orders, irregardless of how many you give.
