People who want to play PUG games play Pantheon/Skirmish. People who want to play against each other in groups play custom games.
This is just plain wrong. Many people outside the USA choose custom games because of ping issues. It has nothing to do with playing in PUG's or premade teams.

It should only count for improving your rank, or as a "win" if you are against suitable opposition. There should be no benefit for a premade team of good players continually stomping weak pug's. I seriously doubt anyone would disagree with me on this.

This is a common problem I encounter when connecting up during a skirmish game. 3 of the players are all connected to one another. The fourth player is not connected to anyone. None of the other three players are attempting to connect to the fourth player. It just hangs there in this state until you cancel.

Writing a good AI is very difficult, though I think there are some obvious improvements that could be made to the current one, like someone suggested above, run when you see 2 AI's (and you dont have a friend nearby). In general the AI needs to be a little more stand-offish. It overetends itself, especially if you start running (or fake running).
If you aren't doing a premade then why arent you in the Pantheon or Skirmish. Logically. Since there currently is no option to team join in skir/panth you assume that custom games are premades.
Let me get this straight... You're saying that *only* premades should play custom games? So much for trying to get a low ping game. So much for trying to get a 3v3 game. So much for... O forget it.
As was said, if anything, the HOL nerf was a kick in the groin for him (albeit, one that he'll easily get over).
HOL wasnt that important for UB. With a vlemish helmet you dont need to go back to the crystal all that often, unless you are doing heavy tower killing. Sure it was something I usually got, but I dont think its going to hurt me that much not having HoL.

I still get AI, but only when players drop. I just dont get matches created with AI's. (Unless they drop right at the beginning in which case its using the dropped player mechanic) As for what happens when both AI and NoAI are waiting for a game, im not sure. My guess would be it starts a match with the "AI" players, and keeps the NoAI player waiting till it can field a full game. ("AI" isnt a specific option here, just the lack of a "NoAI" switch) Im not sure though, youd hav

In 3v3 or more gold 2 is worth it IMO. gold 3 is also a good insurance policy if the game goes longer than expected.

Ill say what I say to most nerf threads. Try playing a tower rook and see how you go. I did and I get owned regularly. Maybe I suck, but im about a 50-50 player with UB. I find myself getting harged through the towers, often by 2 or more demigods at a time. As a rook opponent, I tend to ignore the towers areas of the map early on as they I admit they are pretty strong early on. After you have some armor and health, charging

/NoAI So in your icon->properties->target would be something like... D:\games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe /skipintro /noAI (Although most people would have the path somewhere in c:\program files I expect)

This has happened to me a couple of times recently, and I didnt have ooze. I think its somehow related to dying from spit when the other demigod is dead, although I realize usually when that happens the other demigod still gets the kill. Theres some unusual conditin that triggers it.
That being said, yes, the priest/angels nerf was definitely not a priority issue.
Doesnt matter. The point is they can make this change immediately instead of waiting days/weeks to fix some problem which will involve debugging and testing. It probably took them all of 1 minute to edit the values. Edit: Bah Melric beat me to it.

Look for games with "NO NOOBS" or "PRO ONLY" etc etc in the title. They are obviously for capable people who want a tough fight.

I think compared with most other games that get released *cough*EA*cough* GPG are doing a pretty good job of addressing the bugs, error, balance fixes in this game. Blizzard I would consider do this sort of thing slightly better, but very few people have those sort of resources to update their games. If this was an EA game we would still be back at version 1.0 I approve of most of the balance adjustments, with the exception of heart of life. At 12k I cant see anyone buyin

I doubt there's anyone here that thinks it didnt need a nerf. Its the degree of the nerf which is questionable. People will adapt... by not buying it.... ever.

12k? uuuhhh ok. with longer cooldown. I agree that a sligh nerf was in order, but wow.... I guess this is one item I wont be buying anymore. Much sooner have a magesloyer or a cloak of flames or godplate and run back to base if necessary. Glad to see the priest patch in finally (after losing my last 2 games because we got priests early, despite my request not to). Im afraid though its going to be more of the same. Even if priets get halved for xp/gold (w

I only flaglock in 3 situations... 1) When we are in giants/catapaults (or the opposition is) and we need to secure control of a spawner flag. COuld be our own, theirs or ever a side one like in leviathan. 2) In exile with the side health crystals. Lock the flag and the crystal remains yours long enough to fight off the attack. 3) Sometimes I will lock the back left gold mine flag in cateract if theres 3 or more players per team. If the enemy are showing great interest

All the regular players I play with agree that early priests are a terrible move, and Ive heard "gg" many times from the opponents when one of their team has bought priests. I cant remember a single game where I would consider buying priests early has done anything except feed the opponents (or feed our side as the case may be). Unless you're one of the few characters without an aoe, then a wave with priests die just as fast as a wave without, and perhaps I missed it but I havnt noticed them

I find demigod runs very nicely on xp64, and I dont get any unexplained crashes. Occasionally the game will hang on the spash screen when starting a MP game, but I think thats got nothing to do with my OS. If you're getting such a dramatic speed improvement going to windows 7, I suspect there was something wrong with your previous install. Maybe processes runing in background, or details settings set up way high in your 3d options. Or your frames to write ahead set to 0. Even

An alternative to giving sedna an aoe would be to give her xp for healing. (where she actually heals, not just casts the spell) Might be a bit of a pandoras box tho. (ie potential focus for exploiting)
