I played demigod for a bit but as soon as I got a hon beta I was hooked. Hon game play is more fast paced and has much more of a team feel. It also has faster response time to your clicks which demigod is missing. Although demigod has more complex characters, hon has far more of them and the items make up for the lack of strategy in skill choosing. I do miss demigods cam and graphics though.
whoot ?????? 30$ for Dota Reloaded ???? ive thought the main game is for free and players can buy some goodies for real money ??
You are thinking of league of legends, HoN is $30, LoL is "free". I have been playing the HoN beta over the last week. Its a much faster and more team based game than DG. It only took me a couple of games to get the fee
Your neglecting the fact that is still doesn't change people from stacking thus your reply is deemed pointless imo.
Well you just have to have another "stacked" team join, making them not stacked any more. Also if there is a stacked team that no one will play against then they will either call thier game something else or they will break up the group because no one likes sitting in the lobby all game.
What does seeing stats change about people who want to stack teams? People will just be able to see that a team is stacked so that isn't going to change the stackee's from stacking.
If you see that the other team is made up of higher ranked players then you can leave. Simple.
I reckon its gunna be Toki Wartooth. ...oh wait what?
Wow that looks sweet. I'm guessing it will have low health to make up for being able to dodge and TELEPORT ALL OVER THE PLACE!!1 :D

This will become much less of a problem (at least in customs) when GPG implements seeing a players rank in the lobby.
--Universe at War: diverse factions and great gameplay, but another game that never produced a viable modding community.
I loved UaW but found that it was to buggy for me, the big walkers would always get stuck on stuff. Also the elf like faction was very limited, I could tech up very fast then spam the 2 best units all day long.
5. Just noticed in the screen shot that there are two game hosted by the same person, were you trying to join on of those?
It seems the more I play this game, the more I see "children" exploiting the hell out of everything, and it makes me want to turn off my computer and go outside.
You must not have played an rts online before...
Yeah I have had that too, I didn't even need to join the game before it told me I had won, I decided not to play after that as it was unfare to the other team.
I think most of the people here are missing the point. Its not the doubles thats the problem, its the sneaky switching of demis right before the game starts. Its similar to not announcing weird game options (high towers, long respawns etc) in that its a very immature way to try and get an advantage.
if anything i think reg needs a buff for some skills that hes got. reg's snipe isnt as good as wat u make it out to be. his snipe means u just have to be more weary about how long u should stay in a heated situation, thats all.
I also agree with that
IMHO if anyone is OP its Oak but that could be because I genrelly play Erebus or TB, both of which are quite squishy.
I have had the HoN beta for a few weeks now but there is a bug which stops me joining or creating games so I haven't played actually yet :(
These types of games need their own special genre name.... TCG (Toixc Community Games).
Unfortunatly I dont think it will take off as TCG already stands for Trading Card Game...
my defenition of pro is extremly high, trouble is in this game i only see two skill lvls used pro/noob if you only use 2 skill lvls it is logical noob is 50% and pro is 50% of population. i myself like the term experienced for middle ground then its noob33% experinced 33% and pro 33%. in my opinion the correct usage of the term "pro" should be much less then 33% but in this game i dont see that happening.
I totaly agree with you. I would say this game has
I found the Encyclopedia Dramatica quite handy, it often has articles in it that Whikipedia doesn't so I sometimes use it instead.
I know its a bit late now but I would liked to have seen the diffent types of items (boots, gloves, helms etc) all have the same type of bonus but varrying degrees. i.e. all helms give you mana or mana regen of course some having "chance to activate" effects and the like aswell. That way you would have a clear choice of what to buy and not have so many items that are better because they have both. It would also make it a hell of a lot easier for n00bs to see their choices.</p
