I agree with ZehDon: Stop with the complaining already!

I think the patch fixed at least 3 of the major gripes people had with the game. What I would like to see though is small patches at regular intervals with whatever bug has been fix or items balanced rather than waiting 2 months for a big patch. Games don't have to release everything in one big go anymore with things like stardock and it would be nice to see that put to use. I don't want to come over all negative, I do apreciate the patch and that GPG is listening to all the f
Have people used the building damage/health upgrades above 1 much? Is it worth investing in those?
It just really seems to me like the developers didn't anticipate people skipping the upgrade completely. Honestly if both sides would get priests when they become available I think the game would be much more fun, there's just no way to guarantee the opposing side will follow suit.
Thats why I was suggesting having them linked to the war rank. Both teams would end up getting the priest at relativity the same time.
There are a few threds disscusing things to fix this "problem" so purely as an idea: What if new creeps were added to the waves based on your war rank? There were no upgrades to buy them so you couldn't blame the noobs and it would also give a boost in gold/XP to the loosing team?
BUG: Demigods and minions ignore previous orders in favor of automatic behaviors. For instance: You tell your demigod to run, it turns around to whack a creep that just hit it. You tell your priest to back off, it turns around and starts chasing an enemy demigod. You tell your Rook to auto-attack so
I did not know we'd have to spend huge amounts of time and money building a Battle.net type system from scratch after release.
I have been wandering why you did that, it seems silly to try and remake something that already works. I am glad to read that post though. I think its exactly what the comunity needs to hear
There is no error message that says "you just got boned".
I wish there was...
I think major ones like this and the assassins minions should have been top priority after the connection issues
I think it would need some testing but it sounds like it would work. It might need a recharge or something similar so it couldn't be saved up and spammed near the end of the game.
I think those are some great ideas TheScottishAlien. As Regicide said though, the spawns do need to be in sync.
Maggots are dead?
The reason people make cheating AI is because writing "hard" AI is VERY difficult. Trying to reproduce what a person playing the game is thinking with code is almost imposable, let alone making them smarter.
I am fine with sim speed (I think, is there a definition somewhere?). I'm waiting for my new debit card to come in the post so I can buy DG online and save myself $40

I would like to see a new Assassin and General but apart from that its sounding really good. Oh except for
Q: What are the next updates beyond v1.1 going to focus on? A: Modding & clan support are at the top of the feature list. Beyond that, it will depend on how sales continue to be honest.
That is a bit scary...
I now very doubt they will integrate the mod into vanilla Demigod as they will be implementing an official mod manager in a later patch.
Quoting Wagnard, reply 5 "This post is great. It summarize mostly all the auto-attack problem. GPG should check this thread." LOL. I didn't notice this game had anything to do with supcom 2 so why would they bother?
Because they made this game too?
Thank you Sinzer for bringing it back to the original topic. Personaly I think they are a bit of a waste early game except maybe for the experiance or gold flags. Later they become much more useful when holding a portal will actually deal some damage rather than give your opponent a few more XP.
I think the minions would need some balancing as they would become more effective, this would include speed. Maybe Oaks spirits don't get attacked by the creeps so much because either they are flying or just lower on their priority list, there for they aren't distracted from following your desired target. It could also be that they are programed slightly differntly so the bug does not effect them.
Cool I might still get the game then.
There already is a map editor for this game its called blender.
Not very helpful...
Well I don't know if you will get the chance because I am not willing to buy a game that i can only play against a potentialy tiny amount of people. I have no idea why GPG would choose a differnt way to host the multiplayer when it creates lag like that. I have played plenty of other RTS online and never had enough lag to make it unplayable.
Does it affect it much? Do the Australian players have trouble playing with people in the US or is it not bad enough to worry about?
I know, I have played around with maya myself. The base dont have to match up with the paths, it just has to sit underneath them so they look more grounded. You could have a big lava pit for instance. The paths could have "suports" that go down and disappear into the lava or the paths could simply sit on top of the lava.
