Yeah I saw that mod...i'll dl it and try to dig out the files for only increasing spawns..thanks for the reference though! [e digicons][/e]

I've been rifling through the files to try and make one small mod that I've been wanting since I began playing (which was beta). I've been wanting to increase the amount of footsoldier grunts spawned from the very beginning by at least 3x...however looking at different files I've come up empty.. I've been able to increase the number of spawns able to be summoned by a General Demigod (even though I've run into an invisible barrier with that one, I think I was only able to spawn 12 mini

It might get this way with larger battles..I just played a 3v3 on the Prison map with no issue...the gameplay overall seems to have been slowed down, if this was done by the devs, its a nice change...not too fast, not too unbearably slow...if this was an overall performance issue with my GeForce 7900GS..then its a welcome issue.
I agree there need to be balancing issues for the melee demi's, but this was my first thought for oak...and besides, how is there no apparent downside in my idea for defensive mode? not doing as much dmg to an already weakend in dps oak would be a downside in itself...after they fix oak's current bug
good thought, forgot about that... *Made post in Ideas forum*
playing as oak 99% of the time i've been able to make a general strategy against almost every demigod..except regulus. The range alone kills me when going back and forth with him. One thing I thought about was adding "modes" to oak since he has a shield, a standard mode, and a defensive mode where he would be essentially "raising" his shield in combat more often to hold a flag or other strategic location. something like this: Defensiv

I'd rather see something like the following: *General's minions are 150% the strength of regular grunts -4 levels of minions that you can summon already: *lvl 1 minotaurs, archers, priests: summon 3 minions at a time, total of 6 available for each type *lvl 2 minotaurs, archers, priests: summon 3 minions at a time, total of 9 available for each type *lvl 3 minotaurs, archers, priests: summon 3 minions at a time, total of 12 available for each type
I was reading some posts about instant health recov. scrolls...imho wouldn't that make some classes op? *glaring at rook* he becomes tough enough to kill as it is later in a match, let alone letting him waste excess money on instant health regen scrolls, just bringing in a naysayer opinion for the possible addition.
actually now that i recall i have supcom just haven't played it in forever...(I forgot what supcom stood for, lol) the graphics are completely different, these are more detailed which on one hand is nice, but in the other hand like i said, I'd love to see more grunts on the field, plain and simple
if the game engine could be tweaked to allow for more grunts... The engine was made for many many units (it's based off of supcom, a game that can have thousands of units per player), it's easily doable.
were the graphics this good though? I've noticed the game slow down a bit towards the end when full groups are clashing with each other...which is what i would want to see right from the start.
I like this idea as something exclusive to a specific Demigod. It would be a good peculiar trait; smething for a Demigod we have not yet seen.
agreed...this should be for a specific general, like the queen of thorns..
I do enjoy more carnage. I think giving a smaller number of stronger creep creatures is an option, but let's not forget this should feel like an epic battle. To me this means, I should see a lot of creep creatures on screen.
thats exactly what im talking about...if the game engine could be tweaked to allow for more grunts on the field, but make it incredibly unbalanced as far as numbers go...many mor
I think the main thing to see is a higher number of grunt NPC's that spawn from the portals...i enjoy seeing the mass carnage in battle [e digicons]|-)[/e]
