'Riding a giant white tiger'.. That, is awesome. Nevermind the beta, bring on the game!!!

From what i have seen so far, good job! I hope to see more of the same in the Beta and of course the full game :)
I recommend getting Impulse if i were you Mighty, it means that you can get the client as soon as it comes out. Also, when you put your serial number (you will be given it when the actual game is released) into impulse, it registers the copy and means re-downloading is a breeze. :) (from here http://www.impulsedriven.com/ )
It's too late, there are replys to the post already, just request a lock from an admin :)
Good luck to you Scathis, i do however remember you saying that you may be in the Beta so i hope to see you there. But, welcome to you Tyo! I hope you bring your own flair to demigod and continue in the good work we have been seeing :D
http://demigodguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37 Third link down :)
I'm not sure if they are going to make a mini-map but remember that they are including the Strategic Zoom which you can use to get a full view of the battlefield. A mini map would be nice too though.
The pre-order is all you need :) They haven't said the Beta has filled so you should be getting everything when it begins :)
Are we allowed to know if there will be a matchmaking system in the Beta? Or can we choose our own opponents? Or both? :P It's just that i know quite a few of us wish to play specific opponents so the ability to choose our enemies would be nice :D
Very good IMO, and actually funny in places too :D Also, seeing that the trailer came out yesterday (or the day before depending on time zones), it's very good indeed :)
The Torchbearer looks way too cool not to be played :D
If you live in the states, i know you can buy pre-paid cards, and the same goes with other places too.. Other than that, i'm not sure..
I have to hand it to the animators also, the game is looking very very good, even at these early stages!
We don't know a lot about anything really atm, but Chirmaya and others have been compiling what we have gathered and guessed here: http://demigodguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37 (none of this is pure fact yet :))
That looks so cool.. Bring on the beta already!!!
According to kryo earlier today, on his Demigod video thread 'Look tasty? You can get in on the upcoming beta if you preorder now' So it looks like you will be in, as for the paypal thing, it's something about paying for a game that can't be downloaded yet, so it isn't allowed. Or, i could be completely wrong :P.. Sorry. :D
Sorry to go back to the point about Healers, i found this on the Features page (not hard to find i know :P) General or Assassin? Choosing a Demigod also means you choose a particular play style. As an assassin, become a one-man army as you wade into the front lines, devastating armies with your powers. As a general, build an army and lead them into battle, mowing down the opposition. When your general participates in the battle, they can turn the tide for their troops [B]by healing them[
You can't pre-order via paypal. I wish you could also, but i just had to lump it and use my debit card...
In the end, you just have to put your faith in the skills of the developers. Noone can tell you for sure that it will be immense, but i very much hope it will be. Plus, it's nice to know that if it is a big success, you helped make it that way by improving the game through the beta feedback. Thats my opinion anyhoo :)
That opens up so much possibilities and can be awesome if you do the cap on units correctly, having a 2or3 vs 1 would be impossible if you are alone and an army of 3x the size is coming for you :D Other than that, love the idea!
Both Stardock and GPG have shown their support for modding, it's likely that there will be mods and maps.
If they fully go for the team play aspect, like 2v2 or 5v5 for instance, then healers make sense, especially if they heal and buff other demigods, but in 1v1s, its not such a great idea.
Perhaps they mean that you should come here and stay there also, did they say that they would close those forums?
I agree that the forums could use some work, but it isn't as if you are being kicked off the GPG forums, there wouldn't be a Demigod section if they didn't intend for you to use it. I think that they are merely suggesting you use this site to check up on information and to get the community going, not that you must abandon the GPG forums completely and take up residence here.
I'm sure that upgrades will come in time when traffic improves, meaning when the game starts to get noticed more. You wont get anywhere by ranting but welcome to the forums nonetheless :P
