Grr, no edit.. Just to say thanks guys for the diagnosis and help :)

I very much hope so, it's on kryo's bug list now so i'm hoping it will seen to by the guys upstairs. It's just a shame to have such an early setback, but i wont rush into things, i have faith in SD/GPG :)
I have exactly the same problem here, just been directed from my thread about the same problem and it does seem to be our range of cards. I think all we can do is wait for a SD official to tell us the bad news :P
Right.. so it's a new graphics card needed then? *oh dear lol*
You are all commenting on how lovely the game looks, i can't quite say the same :P my dxdiag, please help! lol ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 9/5/2008, 19:05:51 Machine name: GAMERDUD-31A44D Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254) &
Pretty much done, got a long day tomorrow so can't play though [e digicons]:'([/e] Gotta hand it to Stardock for Impulse though, smooth and fast download and the install seems to be going well too, excellent! :)
As DanteOne said, thats right and the beta should be up in the next few days :)
No Stardock published game that has had a pre-order beta has ever gotten less than a meta score of 85.
Showoff :P
Any preorder is still the collectors edition, so any soundtracks or extra content should also be downloadable from the site, even if you buy the digital one (that's how it was with Sins). Living in the UK, S&H was quite expensive for me and i would assume Lebanon is the same.. I would recommend the digital download :)
Just adding to what xthetenth said, kryo actually stated yesterday that the Beta is not yet full. So no worries :)
When it was announced on the Sins forums :)
Same questions as Chirmaya and Kitkun really.. But just had to say, well done on the preliminary version of the game looking so good to get such glowing Hands-on reviews. Nice one guys!
I agree with Gabberkooij, take a look at the feedback from the first phase of the Beta, and if you like what you see, preorder before the second stage of the Beta and you should get into that :)
Well i'm unsure of what i clicked, but i have just a Maestro debit and it worked fine, i'm sorry if thats not the same for you.. Someone did say that there would be a time when you can use paypal, sometime quite close to the Beta, can you confirm/deny Kryo?
Following an interview with Gas Powered Games at PAX 2008, we got some hands on time with their newest creation, Demigod. The first thing we noticed while watching it running on glowing, envy-inducing PCs was how deliberate much of it looked. Everything from the unit/map design to the ease-of-use control scheme oozed hours of careful consideration on developer GPG's part. While the concept of Demigod tends to bewilder many who hear it -- ourselves included -- understanding the idea only took

Is it maestro? Or maybe switch? I think either of those will work but not all debits come with that sadly..
You honestly can't make it work? I have an English debit card and it worked fine for me uriel. I just put the details into SD's store and no problems... It should work the same with a credit card.
Thanks for the information! I'm also glad to hear that is was fun, even at this stage. What use is a game that's no fun? :P
The beta will be in phases, phase one begins early september and lasts for about a month (a guess there..). If you preorder during this time you should be in the beta when phase 2 begins and so on through the phases. Thats all we know right now, hope it helps :)
Don't worry SneakyChopsticks, you are perfectly ok :) The website preorder is jsut the same as the impluse one, no problem :D See you in the Beta :P
It looks to me that there is variety, but only between the Demigods. I mean that the 'Fatman' Demigod has his own type of minotaur (which incidentally isn't a minotaur :P) and the female Demigod has plant type minions.. That's fine with me, especially if summoning them will be automated and it's just a constant stream of troops. All i really want is to be able to identify my troops and my enemies.
As long as I have my mute button.
Seconded, oh so seconded (well, third now :P) There is nothing more offputting than having a teammate that fills your earphones with high-pitched squealing.. That's exactly why i quit COD4 online for a while..
I wonder if you will record this live beta at PAXX and post the video here *cough* :D I just can't wait to see the game in action, see the initial UI and how everything works through our own eyes.. Excellent! :D
Also, if you preorder later, once you have got a good look at the game, it's possible to get into a later stage of the beta, in another month or two. That is what i would do in your situation, perhaps it will turn out to not be your type of game.
