Having never played Savage, i can't really give an accurate comment but from what Electricnexus says, especially the phrase 'spawn troops' plus the fact that there will be human controlled Assassins roaming around for you to kill, the two games do sound slightly similar in some respects.

I'm unsure if you level up or not... If you do and it isn't reset after every game.. It would make multiplayer quite unfair.. You do however, gain new skills i think and i heard somewhere about 'Buying potions'.. Stardock have been purposefully vague atm so we shall have to wait and see :P
Agreed polarstar :) More information for us to chew on would be very nice indeed also *hint hint* :P
Does Demi have an official (or unofficial for that matter) Ventrilo? I find the voice quality much better there than TS..
I was just interested as to who has preordered and shall be joining me in the Beta during the summer? Can't wait :D
With limited information it is all to easy to get carried away with speculations. I will be pre-ordering next week I just have some concern since I am more of a SP person with RTS type games the general description seems to focus on MP.
I'm with you, on the single player point but with talking on these forums, i'm hoping it will spur my interest for multiplayer. Single player it seems is just training and with the shorter game length of Demigod over sins, i think it will be ea
There will be. Let me give you a teaser: Demigod Arena (free feature with game).
I can't stop imagining a gladiator style arena with a Demigod free for all :D
Will the new site have the same address as this one? And just a revamp or an entirely new one altogether?
It's a lie! Photoshop! :P ;)
Space combat, in my opinion, suits the slower combat. Demigod seems to me to be a faster concept, especially with RPG elements to the game. IC being involved doesnt mean slow gameplay, so yeah, i think kosc is correct.
Never hurts to have more great minds on the job :P As long as Sins enjoys updates and i get into the Demigod beta, i'm happy :D :D
My comment had less to do with "risk" and more to do with "impatience".
Hehe, true..I just hope that, if Ironclad are involved aswell as Stardock, that sins wont be pushed to the bottom of the 'To Do' list and we get the excellent support that we have had so far :)
Well... just £20 ($45) for a good game concept from good teams of people... not really that much to lose. Plus the advantage of testing the Beta too, well worth the risk in my opinion :)
Hehe, told you, not well known :P Aside from in the wizarding world i guess ;)
I be a sinner, not a well known one.. :P but one nevertheless and just pre-ordered Demigod. Hope to see this turn out with the support we see with sins. *laughs maniacally and disappears*
So will there be a collector's edition like Sins had? and if so, the European release will ensure that we don't have to pay those damn shipping costs right? :P
Is there no way to... securely use paypal to preorder then? It's very much one of the most user friendly ways and i bet that it would entice more people to preorder.. Rather than wait for the release (obviously unless they REALLY want the beta :P)
Wow, straight from Sins to Demigod... Stardock are on a roll.. Been lurking the sins forums for a while, hope to watch this game become big :D
