Are you talking about online or in single player? If it is single player skirmish then all you have to to is open up your game.prefs file in notpad, look for a line called points, and change that number to whatever you want. This will give you however many favor points you want in single player.

Yea there are a few decent people in this community, but overall this community sucks. Definatly the worst part of the game.
Hey I am an east coast causual player. I play farily often but am not trying to be a pro play. I Just play for fun. So let me know when you get some games going!! My in-game name is the same as my forum name.
Not nessisarily because the people that he played against when he won only had a few games under thier belt. The experience he talked about could have happened before the stats reset.
I agree that the experience rating is pretty worthless the way it is set up. Unless you have a very high win percentage the experience rating penalizes you for playing more. Ironic then that it is called experience. Using favor as a rating is not a good idea though because the ability to aquire favor is not balanced among the demigods. I do not think people should be penalized in the rating system if they play a support role.
Did they even figure out how people are doing this. Or at the very least how you can tell the difference between the exploit and a legit desync? without knowing that there is really nothing they can do about it
Knockback is not just a graphic. The best way to explain it is to give an example. TorchBearers Fire Nova 1 deals 400 damage, but it knocks back all archers and priests within range of the skill. The priests have more than 400 hp but the skill still kills them due to knockback. One of the coolest things to do as torchbearer is to go to where 2 creep waves converge and kill all the preists and archers in one shot with a level 5 skill.
dude seriosly why is it such a big deal that you have to sign in to play a game ONLINE!?? To answer the question "is it really worth all this trouble?" yes it is. The game is linked to your account, not for drm reasons. They are linked so that people can be banned for one thing. The other is this thing called smurphing where good players will create many accounts so they can be matched up with noobs on a ranked ladder and abuse the ladder in this manner.
Chain locking is annoying. I think there should be a cooldown increase so that one person can not chain lock. I think chain locking with multiple people is ok though because it rewards good teamwork.
What I do is stack health regen. herbaurk of Life, Slayer wraps, Unbreakable boots, Nimoths Ring, and the expensive armors do nicely. If you are not getting Fire Aura get boots or speed or wand of speed too. A good way to play is to jump into a battle, set off your spells, maybe get in some auto attack damage for a SHORT amount of time, then get out before you die. Then you can let your health regen and do it again.
I have the same Issue where I just randomly drop from the game. From my perspective everyone drops and is replaced by AI. From everyone elses perspective I dropped.
Is it really that hard to check the game setting before you play?
I have not played the demo but the favor points work just fine in retail.
I wanted to comment that i think this is a fantatic oak build that very much fits my style of playing.
Modding is going to be awesome in this game!! I can't wait to see some of the new content and new ideas.
Yea I agree the horn needs a nerf. With the amount of damage that minoins can dish out in great numbers, making them invulnarable for 10 seconds is just rediculous. I think i would be good if it were balanced to be like blood of the fallen for minoins. It should give the minoins a good health increase and modest health per second increase.
You need to chill dude
I found TB took a little while to get used to. I think alot of people try to play fire torchbearer as a demigod killer because he puts out so much damage. He fails at this though because he has a very short range with everything but fireball so he tends to die if he trys to go take down a demigod directly. Fire TB is all about area control. It's about saying "If you go here you are going to get 1800 damage and have to sit in a circle of fire!!" This way who can c
Circle of fire acually works quite well on Erebus as long all you can get it off before he stuns you. The amount of damage Erebus has to take in order to batswarm in, bite, walk out is significant. If you fire nova him, get in a few autoattacks, and a fireball or 2 (depending on how long he sticks around) you are golden. Now most Erebus's will not attack you in your circle of fire but that means you can tell him exactly where he can not go which can give you a great advantag
I wouldn't blame GPG for never doing a countdown again..
I think the OP's idea. The ai should ether give a small amount of gold and xp or nothing depending on the results of playtesting.
There already is a map editor for this game its called blender.
Wow if you guys are having a hard time with something like this in the OFF-TOPIC forum then do NOT go to off-topic in the Supreme Commander forums. Your eyes will bleed.
I would also argue that HOL in not OP. The problem is it is cheesy. The fact that you do not have to worry about health and mana because you can walk a few steps away and have it back in a couple of seconds kills an important aspect of the game. How about decreasing the rate at which it regens health and mana. Make the item regen around 30 health/mana per second for 10 seconds (still interupted by damage). That way it is still usefull but not a p
I do not understand how so many people are haveing issues now. I can get into a custom game in a few minutes.
