I first want to note that I do not support PC gaming piracy, however i do not think that the reason PC games are not as popular as console games is because of DRM or piracy. One reason for this discrepency is that even though there are many more PCs than consoles, only a small percentage of them are acually capable of playing PC games. Far many years companies were creating games with the best graphics technology that they could, and they relied on people upgrading thier hardware

Ok yea I was pretty pissed off when I posted that. I am still not sure if it is worth it to me to play this game anymore, its a really great game but many of the people here just make it so it is not very fun.
I do not think Stardock is being Harsh at all this community is aweful I am suprised that they have stuck around this long. A few negative comments is one thing, but constant badgering and discontent with a company that has the best customer servive I have ever seen in a gaming company, is quite another.
Seriously I have been playing this game since that beta I have racked up at last 200 games with about a 55% win/loss ratio. Most of this while pugging. This mod changes the priests minions so that they heal based on the demigods level instead of based on the max health of a demigod. I balanced this mod to make priests as effective as they were before if you did not health stack. What this means is that health stacking will not longer increase the effectiveness of Minion Priests. Citadel Priests were not changed. Anyone can feel free to incorporate this into any of thier balance mods. <a href
I figured it out I was able to use unit:GetLevel(). I used this in BuffAffects.lua to make the change.
I agree that small changes to the week demigods is the way to go. I play TorchBearer often and the biggest problem (besides the fire while moving issue) is the lack of health regen. Extending Frozen Heart will have the practical effect of buffing his autoattack which I think is also needed. You might even want to increase the weapon damage buff that Frozen Heart gives. I will be more than willing to help test the mod with torchbearer when you are ready to do so
How do I get the current level of a demigod? I am making a mod so that monks will heal based on a demigods level. This is the relavent code from HighPriest01Abilities.lua. If I define LvL as a number the mod works but I can not seem to figure out how to define LvL as a demigods current level. Please Patch in FIRE-TB Fire while moving fix.... After playing FIRE-TB with Sorians mod I must say that this makes FIRE-TB significantly better. I think he is a viable option now with this fix. You guys should patch it in ASAP....
Yea the ranged charaters do not stack up to the melee characters..
