The problem is that all comments posted after February 13, 2009 will probably be ignored. Thanks for bringing this to my attention though. It will be interesting to see the fallout, if any, from the workshop.

You are required to claim any sales taxes that you did not pay due to online purchase on your yearly state tax form if your state has a sales tax (currently nineteen states have this specific section in their tax code). The point of sale was your billing address. That makes you rather than the business the responsible entity for making sure they got their sales tax. It's tax law. You don't have to like it, you just need to be prepared to bend over if your state decid
Some of the nightmare AI is finicky on the P part. Rook refuses to carry potions only in nightmare (from what I've seen), prefering to summon a tower at the start of a skirmish and eat it when low. If he had potions, he could do one first, then the other if called for. Erebus only used bat swarm as an attack. Big problem as it's one of the best defensive moves. Oak doesn't prioritize well for his last stand. Why hit the full health demigod when he cou
Is it bad that I have a mine build? I'm treating the Regulus much like I had imagined a General would play. Plant mines, hit from range until I'm noticed, then run and plant mines in a different lane. Return to lane and do hit and run again.
She's a nightmare to face with Regulus 1v1. When your mines become your best skill to use, something is wrong. I managed to pull it out, but that was solely because I focused on citadel upgrades, movement upgrades, and stacking mana/armor. I literally wasn't an archer for the last part of the fight, but Mr. Minelayer with a xbow relying on his creeps to pull the fight my way. She dominated the early game, constantly putting pressure on my citadel. Definitel
Yay! Downloading now.
Competitive gameplay doesn't exist without people. Game is fun when playing against people. AIs, for the most part, are not fun opponents. Makes me feel bad for the single-player aspect, but that's not why I'm purchasing it. Speaking of Single-player AIs, I do miss some of the Beta 1 AIs when compared to Beta 2. Particularly the Rook AIs. I'm sorry, but having the Rook Boulder Roll into a Hammer Smash was fun...even if it killed me way too ma
If it's the 12 Noon -5 GMT I'll be there. It will be good to get more than a 1v1 or 2v1 match going (all I've done till now as I've only done matches with people I've been in guilds with, to decrease the likelihood of a player bailing mid-match). Hope to get in at least one 3v3 or even a 5v5 in before next patch.
Always keep a lock handy myself. Use it when I want to guarantee that Artifact shop will be under my control no matter how furious the fight is. Use it when a group is trying to take a neutral portal back and I'm not sure of my ability to hold them all off. Rarely, but I use it on an enemy's base portal that I've taken. A full wave of my creeps appearing right next to the enemy citadel is more of an insult than anything but it does encourage a base attack if the
What if gold mines had a limited supply of gold. Would make end game more about killing Demigods and such AND make neutral mines VERY important.
Based off this, it would probably be better that gold mines start off with a better "rate" of gold that slows down the longer it is claimed total. Means there would be a rush for mine control and fights could center around them early game, but late game when lines are more established t
Capturable gold mines. The ability to micro each set of general creeps. Each demigod having access to life steal through items. The ability to lock flags. If you screw up, you're dead. If you misclick, you'll probably recover from it. Never ending waves of ever strengthening fodder. Really...too much to state in one post. I'll stop there.
Buy the upper level siege archers. The Absolutely demolish buildings. I usually rape buildings with them on one side of the map and battle with erebus/oak else where.
Have you noticed enemy AI demigods ignoring them like I have? I attack a tower and an AI demigod hurries over. I stay in a different lane levelling while the cannoneers go up the outside of the map destroying towers unopposed until they start hitting c
Biggest problem I had so far this build was finding Erebus or Oak hiding among their minions. I agree that some easy means of spotting the Demigod would be nice. Personally my greatest problem from a competitive standpoint is that full team games last long even on a fast rush. Steamrolling the other team shouldn't take twenty minutes. A really good back and forth game shouldn't break an hour. Easiest way to fix this would be to ramp up creeps, and make giants
Hotkeys are listed with the onscreen button, just sorta smallish. 1-4 your skills. 5-7 minion summon. F1-F4 your items. Minion controls has some hotkeys, but don't remember them. I also noticed you've been creating a lot of threads, but haven't been putting any notifiers in the title. It would probably help the dev team sort better if you followed the sticky suggestion and put thinga like [Bug][Gameplay][Crash][Interface] in the title. Have fun fi
Personally think Erebus is an overpowered demigod. I shouldn't be able to take down a Rook in a knockdown, drag-out fight. I also shouldn't be able to out-kite a Regulus. I can do both by taking Bite to completion, his coven to completion, and fill out his stats and leech aura. Get his Bat teleport for survivablitity. You are now Mr. Hit-and-run as bite has a ridiculously short cooldown for a leech, and his minions are good distractions/DOT. bat telep
Wow, giant block of text. Edit: Now much better. I found the Erebus to be a little powerhouse if you used him right, able to take down any demigod in a knockdown, drag out fight and up to three if you kite correctly. Only trouble is if you get stunned with no minions around. Bite is ridiculously good for such a short cooldown ability, I completely ignored Mist and his Bat attack ability just levelling up Bite, his Coven set, and late game his Aura. I even ign
If they are looking for a sci-fi MMO they should look at acquiring CCP. They'd get EVE and WoD that way. One of the longest running, still growing subscription models in EVE and World of Darkness would be an IP win. Would have to fight off Atari and a bunch of Icelanders though, so...
@OP Yes, but the demigod isn't physically capturing the flag. His presence within a radius of the flag, no matter what is happening to him, is enough to awe the little beings in the flag to his side. The way you want it to work doesn't make sense to me because if you are going through the effort to program it like the demigod must interact with the flag, why not just make it so the demigod, anf the player controlling it, must actually interact with the flag to capture it.<
It is fast, but I'm still getting slight delays when major events are happening in game. I'll first say it's not everytime something major happens, but its more notixeable now as the music hangs or repeats a bar. Really noticeable improvement though, so accolades to you. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 9/8/2008, 04:00:05 Machine name: MJOLLNIR Operatin
Nice catch, I wasn't even looking at that.
Let's just say I have enough trouble with spelling, so I pay more attention than most. This one really stood out because they shouldn't be misspelling something they use for a class archetype. The award screen also came up for me before the citadel was actually dead. Might just be a visual delay.
'assasin' ahould also be spelled 'assassin'.
I've noticed this on all indirect based attacks myself, but mainly on the Rook since thorns bypasses armor. His archer tower basically means he kills himself if he attacks a demigod with thorns equipment (if he doesn't kill them first). Archer towers on field seem to take damage from thorns as well. So I'm not surprised, though I have never gone fire with TB. I get too much fun from stun-locking.
I still like the idea of having squads like in Dawn of War. Less micro management so that you can use both your general and the squad. Still gives you 2 things to balance between tho. That's why I originally thought the Generals were going to stay in the base. Now that I think about it though, that would get pretty boring if your creeps happened to get slaughtered right after spawning, and you having to wait before you can send out new units.[/qu
Quoting nantukoprime, reply 42) Less on screen increases fps...which is really interesting, as in the last build it was the exact opposite. Number of pure individual units still causes fps to stutter with each new wave, and the more units in the wave the less the fps. Most noticeable around giants, but starts with catapultasaurs. are you using the in-game framerate (that's forward slash key)? it's actually the render time
I inserted part of my dxdiag so GPG would have system specs to reflect my fps, memory exhaustion, and cpu usage issues (Especially since it is a drastic change from Build 1 to Build 1A. Just saying I have these issues doesn't mean the bytes it's saved on without something that can explain the issue or be used in quantitative analysis. New Information regarding: 1) Memory exhaustion worked around by using a 4 gig thumb drive and allocating it to Readyboost. <
