When you run impulse it will check for updates and let you know if there is one to download.

It is because a lot of people don't understand how big of a war rank bonus you get from holding multiple flags. Domination is usually the easiest mode to win online in skirmish/pantheon because chances are you opponents are busy gearing up for a conquest type victory while you are taking flags.
Odd thing is, some of us didn't have that issue in beta, even though it's now turning killer in release.
We did have a variation on that problem where you couldn't open a shop/citadel after closing it if you didn't first move. That was fixed, but somehow ended up with skill use in the release version. I know the beta and gamma codelines were different so that is why we didn't see it.
It is very enertaining just playing a single player Tournament mode to get you started. I would win a Hard tournament, or even a Nightmare tournament, in single player before jumping online. You can get online before then, of course, it can just be a brutal way to learn the game playing against other players. Demigod is a great game and multiplayer keeps improving so it is very much worth getting be it now or in a week.
You'll be able to get it off of Impulse once it is released
Yeah just deal with it or ask for a refund. We don't care about your problems. Send them to people who do.
The file is games.pref and is in your Demigod folder under My Documents/Games/Gas Powered Games/
When you are healed by a priest, be it a creep or idol minion, you receive an invisible debuff that prevents you from receiving healing from any priest again for 10 seconds. The buy-summon-resell trick doesn't get around this.
Favor items are usually part of my builds. In beta I had access to all favor items and it was a lot of fun to have a variety of choices at the start of the game. Hopefully the favor item problem gets fixed soon.
The Light will always triumph! Not sure why Dark lost this round. I didn't play Pantheon enough to get a feel for the Dark players. I do know we've seen a lot of focus on equipment and not enough focus on citadel upgrades and flag capturing. Once the playerbase starts figuring out the system better and learning to better manage and balance their spending we'll see better compeition online.
It has been like this since beta and has been brought up an amazing amount of times on the forums without any response from SD/GPG over the past few months. I don't think they plan on changing it.
Balance is pretty good. Players just like fussing about everything. Instead of learning to play better after a loss they stomp their feet and cry about how some mean ol' Demigod is OP.
Light Side is the best, your font is horrible
Sedna's Healing Aura and Inner Grace plus any equipment she may have been wearing to increase her healing is probably what you were seeing. Add in priests from an idol and her own Heal ability and she can be very hard to defeat.
It is a planned feature for Impulse in the near future.
You always think the game as 1vs1 but it's never the case...
That has been the problem against the forums. Demigod was never balanced for 1v1 matchups and doesn't need to be. It is a team game.
Every DG is OP! Erebus is soft like butter.
Do you have un-installed applications hidden? I see that happen to people sometimes. I can't remember where the option is in impulse but there is a place where you can set up your view.
Someone had one made up. Sevenix or Innociv maybe? Can't remember. It may be old beta data though. He had graphs comparing all the DGs and everything. It was a delight.
Light always triumphs over Darkness. It is the way of things. Right now there are no tangible benefit to winning a Pantheon.
I think the game is very, very balanced
Sedna should be made stronger, but balanced by having her leopard randomly stop to lick itself for a few seconds leaving Sedna vunerable.
I would like to see them continue. Particually once we get into updates for balancing and enhancing the game. It is important for the community to know what you guys are thinking. Suprise nerf/buffs are annoying. Even if we don't agree with the changes, it is important to us to understand what changes are happening and why you guys feel its necessary. It'll cut down on the "SD/GPG NEVER LISTEN!" type of posts.
i would think sedna and QoT are less played on pantheon, because it's a gamble picking a support DG for a PUB group. you might end up backing other support DG or badly played assassions. anyway, i think since you can stack heroes in DG, you're going to see some annoying and devastating comps
Agreed. It is rough being a Sedna Pantheon player. The worst is getting stuck with AI. Hard to be a
Experience is a calculated value for rankings. They haven't released the formula yet though we did ask, beg, plead for it during beta. I think they are still tweaking things and they don't want us figuring out how to "game" the experience system.
