I like your Sedna skill suggestions. The active one would allow for a massive heal or silence flurry which may be a bit too much considering her pre-existing cooldown reduction passive. Add in a celerity flag and ouch. 50% may be overdoing, but I think the skill would work and compliment Sedna's existing skills well. The passive one also sounds good. Sedna has the ability to remove negative effects with Heal III (or maybe IV), but it is near imposs

Even done in "good humor" such exchanges are counter productive. The game is less than a month away. If there are any issues that still need to be communicated then they need to be done calmly and rationally if you want anyone to listen. Not speaking to you specifically, just in general we've seen a lot of ranting and raving lately.
Sedna is very fun to play and can be one of the most valuable DGs in a team when played right. She can use Pounce and Silence to interrupt enemy Demigods and her Heals to keep teammates alive. She also has auras that can reduce ability cooldowns, increase health regen, increase healing of your side's priests and prevent enemy priests from healing at all. Sedna's higher level Heals remove negative effects and even do area of effect damage against enemy troops.
A good explanation of what Demigod is. Hopefully future players are paying attention.
It is a neat feature once it is implemented. At one point I had a message pop in IRC informing me of an open game availble to join. I think that is a great idea as well.
Nice, thanks.
Yeah been this way for awhile.
So I did three custom games of 5v1 and just let them run until I won. Mostly I just did it for giggles. Here is how my games list records them... 5 March 17, 2009 Custom Game (Structured Defense) Prison
Well for me I got to play the game for quite awhile so the extra money isn't all that big of a deal. For those of you who pre-ordered without getting into beta I would hope they would adjust your price to the currently listed price.
Very, very nice. So this goes to the new customer #1,000,000 or can any of us who buy something win?
Yes you can change sides with every new tournament. Once you choose a side you have to stick to that side throughout the tournament. You can check the status of a tournament using the Pantheon link on the website.
I asked Frogboy in IRC if we'll see micro-expansions or full blown expansions and he said it will depend on the success of the game.
Oh good, was hoping another update to GalCiv was coming. It's good to take a peak at the place that has fueled my procrastination for so many years.
1) Rename or Delete your ImpulseReactor.dll 2) Verify Download in Impulse 3) Accept the update from Impulse
I have yet to become bored of it. All the little things aside it is really, really fun to play.
Your concerns are more for the longevity of the game and less about the initial success of the game. Initial impressions by reviewers and customers are going to be very favorable which will drive sales. After that these little things may start to bother people, but they have budgeted for updates/fixes/balancing throughout the end of the year so I expect we'll see things continually improving. While your concerns are valid, I don't see any reason to delay release.
I do get the "Waiting for NAT Traversal to begin" but the only time I've had my name turn red was during a custom game where I tried to join right when they hit Launch. So they were already playing by the time I was trying to connect.
Been using Staff of the Warmage a lot lately when running Sedna. Since I've been concentrating on a support build more and more, I like the mana boost and the extra weapon damage doesn't hurt.
That will be one long beta test, I pre-ordered awhile ago so I'll be around for it.
I like them having focused phases of testing, Stardock betas are the most enjoyable ones around.
There was no update released today. Yesterday there was the update to 3C and another small update for connectivity.
I've spent countless hours trying to run a Yeti build for Sedna. It can be a strong build, especially now that Yetis are better, but it isn't as good as her other skill choices.
Just hit TAB and anyone with a ping of 0 is AI. Out of all the Pantheon games I've run I've only had a human in my game one time. At release we'll see at least two humans in any Pantheon game.
I had the same problem and it turned out I had an older ImpulseReactor.dll Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin and find your ImpulseReactor.dll. Rename it to something like oldImpulseReactor.dll or just delete it. Then in Impulse right click on Demigod in your My Games tab and choose Verify Download. It might take a couple minutes but it will eventually pop up telling you need to download an update. You'll get a small download that will provide yo
