Yes we all get this. There is a thread a couple lines down from yours about it as well as many others. It will be fixed before too long.
We just need some tougher AI and single player will be fun. Even if it is just tournaments and custom games.

You'll get real people in your Pantheon games sometimes. It trys to find other players and if it can't then you get AI.
I believe the beta has closed to new people today. The game isn't slow paced at all. The Rook is a giant stone construct, he does move slow, but not all the Demigods are slow like that. Some are quite fast.
The rankings don't work. According to the website I am on a 30+ game losing streak.
You are probably playing against AI. I really wish the game would make it clear when you are fighting against the AI. When I played a Pantheon game it put me against all AI.

Agreed. The only other Generals favor item that I use is the Blood Soaked Wand. Even with the 45 second cooldown, being able to heal every DG around you for 1000 can be pretty useful. Especially when we are doing a push to the citadel. But I usually only choose the wand when I am doing a my support build with Sedna.

I work all weekend and can't play anyway. I think GPG knew this and have decided to wait on the patch until a time most convient for me. This is really considerate of them to go above and beyond just for me.
What we have right now with Beta 2D is very limited. We only have one map, six Demigods and a clunky multiplayer. Still it has been a lot of fun. They've really got a compelling genre blend with Demigod. I can see myself playing this for quite awhile.
It can be hard to browse all the items in the heat of battle. We'll have a guide up eventually that details everything in the shop and favor items eventually, but until then start a game in sandbox mode with an AI opponent and familiarize yourself with what the shop has to offer. If they do put it on Impulse, I doubt your key will work I have STALKER and can't register my key through Impulse. It said that only keys provided by Stardock can be registered.
