By and far my most anticipated is SW:TOR. I've been playing MMOs for about 10 years now, and the last 6 or so years have been pretty meh ( after eq1 wore off. Also played EQ2, LoTRO, WAR, Myst Online/Uru/etc., Tabula Rasa, HGL, CoV ( sorta...abandoned by the time I got out of the tutorial, lol ) and I think there were 2 or so others. ) After that the others, in no real order are : Sup Com 2, DoW2:CR, AC2, ME2. do you mean the "Holy Idol"...because even when I place the 2 files ( SniperRed_MESH.bp and SniperX_Character.lua ) in the bindata/characters folder, no character will load ( and I get an error about not being able to find siegearcher_MESH in the mods/favormod.../siegearcher folder. )

Well, I've managed to play a couple of small games and am noticing something. I think you should bring ability damage back up considerably. I understand wanting to level the playing field so that people on a runaway xp trip don't become invincible....but currently AA base damage is well above skill damage on both Reg and DA ( and I would assume the same is true with the rest of the assassins, though I haven't tried them yet. ) When you add in crits from the auto-attack, it goes up even furthe

Sounds quite interesting...and a lot of changes. As such, I will hold back any opinions I have based on what I just read, until I've actually tested it:) I'll let ya know what I think, if I find any bugs, etc. after trying it out. At the very least though, nice work on such a large scale mod. We need more of this:)

The Random_EQ_New should have mod_info.lua and the hook folder inside it. ( then inside the hook/lua/common there should be HeroUtil.lua ) It should show up in the ingame mod manager then.

Just an update: I am back from vacation now, so will see about putting more time into DG. As for this particular issue, I have sent another PM to Frogboy and a Support ticket. I'm just trying to get some sort of response that they are aware of it, and looking into it. However, I figure if I don't hear back in a week ( Frog is usually on every day, and the support takes about 48 hours for a reply...so both should have had plenty of time. ), then things must be working as intend

Usually you have to make it for your first mod. Either inside bindata or in the top directory works. ( I usually put mine just in the demigod folder, cause I'm too lazy to always be diggin into another folder :P )

As much control as DG gives for modding, I would be amazed if it was not possible. However, I do think it would be a fairly large mod. Currently, the modders are just starting to figure some of the more basic stuff out, so something like this would be a fair ways down the line.

Actually, the work I have done...suggests a UI only mod could go as far as to remapping the entire game on your side, allowing the modding of every single file. Now, you wouldn't be able to do anything that desyncs the game, but there really isnt all that much that does. I told both Frogboy and Sorian about an issue I found worse than just seeing what items the enemy has, and both have ignored me, and there appears to be no work to try and fix it.
