I just need someone to join my game ( zechios game ) for a min or so to test out a UI only mod that might have some side effects. Will have it hosted for a bit til someone joins.

When I play single player with Nightmare I find that they end up hitting lvl 20 while I am lvl 12-14. Despite that if you are using a power demigod (Oak, LE UB), are careful and use sigil of vitality and health potions I find that it is possible to grind down most AI's.
Hard = 1.5x gold a
Wow, thanks for offering to code that Zechio. I'm not partial to either one so code whichever one you or the community think would be most useful. Thanks again!
NP:) I'm getting ready to take up a BS in Game Development ( programming ) at Full Sail soon, and can use as much of a head start as possible. NTM I have nothing to do until then, and find it kinda fun. I've actually got un-released mods that have a few issues I need GPG/SD t
I actually thought about that but I have no idea how you would code it. Another thought I had was limiting every hit after the first one to a defined amount. Like the first hit does 500 damage but every hit after the first does something like 30 to 50 damage if you're being hit by it again. So if you used Warp Area on a single target you would do something like 700-1000 damage and be immune to damage for the full 3.2 seconds. Again, I have no clue h
lol people dont have any idea about balance. If you even want a remotely balanced mod make swap range shortter at high levels.
I disagree here. The range is currently all that swaps higher levels have going for it. As is, most people dont really bother with anything except the first one anyways. However, if it does receive a debuff of some sort, that also scales...I think it would need something that helps. My proposal is
It is good practice to leave a sizable chunk free on your primary ( Really I would recommend 10 gigs ), as lots of stuff likes to use temporary files somewhere on the primary before moving it over where you want. I actually recently had something take over 15 gigs:(
Hey thank you so much for these quick responses. If I understand the last two posters correctly, (>> A 9500 GT with 8 Gigs of GDDR3 (never gonna happen, but just an example) is still way way worse than a 9800 GT with 512 MB of GDDR3.) that means that the serial number on the back of the *GRAPHICS* card is what I should be looking for? Another question: How do I see the resolution Zechio? EDIT: And how do I
I'm not a computer expert by any means, but when looking at new laptops keep in mind that 32bit operating systems cannot utilize more than 4 gigs or RAM (looking at dxdiag, it actually seems to be about 3 gigs!) so avoid any "gaming rigs" that are trying to sell you RAM you can't use. As for windows 7, I haven't tried it yet, but it can't be worse than Vista, right?
It is 4 gigs of total memory. Video cards can eat a large chunk of th
these are sim mods right? If they are, you should probably mention everyone has to have the mod installed since most people would think they were just UI mods.
doh, I had mentioned it when I first posted, but musta deleted that part when I added the other 2 and reorganized it:( Fixed!
I've created 2 simple mods for the death camera. 1 removes the spin/zoom, the other removes the sepia. I also have a combined version, all available at: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/370574
2 things: I think precision needs to be more reliable. Sure, on average it is a damage increase...but it's possible to get a bad string and do far less. When DA goes in, he is risking his neck big time. He needs to be able to rely on his attacks getting the job done. As such, I was thinking perhaps have it 100 percent crit chance, but the actual crit modifier gets changed. something like: 1.08 , 1.10, 1.2, 1.25 would match the average damage of the numbers you have. I think you could
After more time looking for the appropriate file than I care to admit, I now have a mod to remove the Sepia camera after death too. www.imperiuminferi.com/test/NoSepiaCamera.7z Also added a combined mod: www.imperiuminferi.com/test/NoDeathCamera.7z
Wait does this me you can get enough skill points to get all skills?
Yes, and then quite a few to spare. DA has only needs 32 points to max out. Interestingly the game originally went to 25, they just commented out the last 5 levels so you can't get them.
3 simple mods modifying the cameras behavior on death in all game modes. Downside is this is NOT a UI mod, so everyone will need to have this to work in multiplayer. First is No Spin/Zoom on death: Download: www.imperiuminferi.com/test/NoDeathCameraMove.7z Next is No Sepia on death: Download: www.imperiuminferi.com/
as the purpuse of me starting modding in the first place, however, since the file that changes your camera, is actually not a UI file but that of the Conquest Gamemode!, there is no way to make such a mod to be UI-only. Which means
Partially true. The Conquest file isn't where the actual function is, just the call. The function is in simCamera.lua. However, as this is a sim file, ui only is still a no go.Good news is I have atleast made the mod so it affects all game ty
I also tried to make a mod to remove the intromovies "/skipintro" like but also remove the 2.5 sec wait of the first splashscreen that is there even when you use /skipintro. This failed for the same reason as mentioned before.
The first slash screen is where the game is actually loading...so even if you managed to remove the image, you would still have the same wait time.
Just tried it out...and when 2 balls of mobs get together along with generals minions it can slow down a bit. It was pretty insane and funny, but you actually have to try and not attack so that the enemy will live long enough to actually see 50. It doesn't take long to get there, its just that due to the large amount of creeps...if you get the xp bauble and just stand in a lane you get MASSIVE levels. Anyone that dies/goes flag cappin/item shoppin falls several levels behind. All in a
Oops. Accidentally deleted some quote marks with a last minute edit of mod_info.lua: All better now:)
current buffs/debuffs will now be taken into consideration, so that higher level buffs will not be overwritten by weaker ones. Tweaked some more descriptions and such. Cleaned things up a bit. With the last of the major issues gone, I have decided this latest release will be v1.0 There are still known issues, but they do not affect game play. If you run into anything I have not listed below, please do make sure to say something! Just do remember, this skill is
Makes sense, and easy enough to do. I'll try to remember for anything I work on.
Fixed the problems with the debuff applying to self, and the single enemy buff not applying. Also changed descriptions, tool tips, etc. Fixed some typos. Buffs appear to be lasting full duration now as well, however: Lower number buffs can currently override higher buffs. Known issues that remain: No Cleanup All buffs/debuffs uses the same Icon "Natures Fury IV" still uses the tribute icon.
