Actually, in order for anybody to apply for the top best players award, I think they should be very well rounded in both Pantheon and Custom games, not just custom games with Pre-made teams (anybody with a consistently decent partner as an ally playing Pugs all the time can rack up wins with little effort). They should be able to demonstrate that they can win the vast majority of games they play regardless of their team mate's skills (assuming the partner is at the very
Is your version of DG fully updated?
It's the Stardock Impulse download version. EDIT: Fixed the problem, don't know what it was, but it's working suddenly.
I don't know what the hell is going on, but since I formatted and re-installed DG, no mods will work. I am trying to get the rollover data mod to enable but it refuses to function. I have tried two different versions of it, nothing works but it worked fine before the format. I've also tried uninstalling DG, deleteing all the residual folders, and then re-downloading/installing the game and the mod STILL won't work. I made sure it's enabled in game and it says it is, but nothing happens.
Anybody? EDIT: Fixed the problem.
Ok I have a problem, I formatted my computer and had to re-download DG and this mod, but now the mod won't work. I used the installer, made sure to enable the mod in the mod menu, but the game won't show the HUD. What could be the problem here? EDIT: Tried uninstalling the file and installing the latest version listed here, still won't work. What the hell is going on here?

So...if Occulus is released, why haven't I played against him yet or been able to select him? [e digicons]:fuzzy:[/e]
Not that I'm surprised it didn't happen, but has he been forgotten?
Forums and words are all fine and dandy, but they still need first hand experience, exactly like how book work and studying can help, but doesn't compare to actual experience.
I've been creating "Noob Training" rooms where the goal is to attract noob players to a room who want to learn from a decent player (myself) without fear of being kicked out of the room or being whined at for being a noob. So far I've hosted a few of these and they met with great success, with many of the noobs asking tons of questions and me sharing everything I know with them. It confers a very friendly gaming experience as well as encourages noobs to stick with the game.

Lose. Congratz you can correct grammer on the internet! Here is your cookie!
It's a never ending job.
I think we all get that you don't like the game niz, but no amount of whining is going to change the fact that many (most) players that have played Demigod at the very least like the game while many others (like myself) think it is a great game with a terribly flawed multiplayer system. Basically, unless you want to get back on topic, I would ask that you refrain from dragging the thread down any further please. This isn't a "let's bash Demigod" thread.
queen beats double tower, as does minions erbeus.
Only if double paired with two minion builds is it even a possibility and if your partner is at least half-decent a player, but two tower rooks that warp all over the place to double team + towers is damn near impossible.
I don't know what you Ass players are whining about, you clearly haven't played vs dual tower rooks, especially on a tiny map like Cat. It's completely impossible if they even have the slightest clue how to play one. All they have to do is health stack, and push with towers and their isn't a damn thing you can do. Complete bullshit.
I think I've played maybe 4 people total in that list, the rest I've never even heard of lol.
The problem with feeders or "noobs" is that THEY ARE FUCKING DUMB. I don't want to boast but in 20 games or so I pretty much grasped the basics of the game. And I listened to my teammates. Pretty much all feeders have some problem reading. Seriously I dont understand how their mind works but telling them helpfull things is almost never useful. They are DUMB and are dyslectic.
This. <p
There was a "new" update? Funny, my game hasn't been updated since 11/19/09 according to Impulse...
They should re-add crucible to the pantheon. That map is designed for smaller fights and is still a fun map.
To make matters worse, most feeders tend to die with double teams as they apparently don't grasp the concept that they aren't super-man and can't take two DG's simultaniously. It almost NEVER works, no matter how strong you are. Their resulting deaths end up paying multiple DG's for their single death.
The thing that killed DG before it even got going was whoever's boneheaded decision it was to go P2P as the way to play a multiplayer game. As expected, that created tons of headaches and discouraged many of the potential player base. Many of them do a "proxy" connect now, but it's more like a bandaid solution to a flawed concept. A shame, because I too like DG and am sorry it turned out the way it did.
Just had to rant, I look at my losses and virtually all but two(, I admit I was doing some experimenting and my experiments failed as I did lol) of my losses were due to having less than competant team mates and or feeders. Since this isn't a game that one player can pull the rest of the team, it makes it all the more aggrivating to lose only because your partner would feed the enemy. Anyway, rant over. <img src="http://web.stardock.net/images/smiles/themes/digicons/Big%
