So...is this entire list of players just those that play the unofficial vent servers? I haven't played many on that list...cept tuki and I play a mix of Panth and Custom matches.

I hate having to pussyfoot around for the first three minutes of a game, trying not to kill my opponent for fear that if I do, they will quit (since most are aware that a game doesn't count until after the 3 minute mark). Why there is such a dreadfully long wait is anybodies guess, when one minute would be more than enough time to decide if you are going to stay or not. My only solution is to deliberately NOT kill anybody for the first three minutes. I can't tell you how many times I've been

Include some guy named "Nilanthi". He only plays against fights he is certain to win (noobs or mediocre players). He absolutely refuses to play against me in Pantheon matches, and throws concedes once the match has started. Seriously, the guy is a stats whore. Seriously though, look at the guys games played list, look at all the NA/Incomplete games in there. If there is even a remote chance he will lose, then he won't even try to play. http://pant

Yeah, me joining the Ass team was a BIG mistake. Can't beat a general once they have minion swarms up no matter how good you are (unless they are total noobs).

20 Replies 11,156 Views

Yeah, I joined team ASS this round, and all it takes is a decent oak or erebus player, and it's game over since all pantheon is anymore is 1vs1. I won't be playing it much in that case heh.
It took forever to find in an actual store. I got the last copy after checking four stores. It's an underrated game, mainly because of the bad start due to pirates raiding the multiplayer. So let that be a lesson to you. Kindness is not rewarded in business, at least not in the short term.
It is definitely the most under-rated game of the past two years or so. It is unique, more complex yet simpler at the same time

Many people at another forum are consistently claiming that Demigod was a huge failure "blah blah blah blah". It was my understanding that it sold pretty well actually, and while it's multiplayer is likely about as good as it's going to get (but still FUBAR), it's still a fun game. I can't seem to find any raw sales figures though. What was the production budget? How much did it make? How many copies were sold?
Brain storm causes a net loss in mana if you use it with full mana. The reason is because the ability has its effect (add mana) before it costs mana. This isn't a bug.
No that isn't a bug, but causing a loss when you only have partial mana is a bug. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen.

Another two bugs; 1. Apparently, brainstorm lvl 15 is broken too. It's supposed to give a cool down reduction, but I have tested it over and over again and there was ZERO reduction in cool down time. Great, this means that "ALL" of Occulus' level 15 skills are broken...EVERY...SINGLE...ONE. 2. Brainstorm sometimes "missfires" and actually drains mana from your pool instead of replenishing it. This doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough for me to have noticed it. Us

Found two (maybe three) so far, and they are pretty bad bugs too. 1. Occulus level 15 chain lightning perk doesn't work. It's supposed to stop opponent regen for both mana and health, yet they are clearly able to regen just fine. Until this is fixed, it's only a wasted point. 2. When those little lightning balls are summoned, if you have all the minions selected along with Occulus, he inexplicably slows down to a crawl, regardless of his move spee

Here's the latest on the poor sportsmanship awards; Kisersosa. Damn, and I was actively defending and even somewhat promoting Demigod at another website to attract some new players (I got about 5 members so far to at least try the demo) as well as recently, starting to host Noob Training rooms to try and help give the newer guys a helping hand in the game from a veteran. With an attitude like this from SD though, I question whether it's even worth continuing to do either...

Reply to Let's talk Occ in Demigod

Noticed that Occs lvl 15 ability for chain lightning doesn't work. It's supposed to stop all mana and health regen for 10 seconds after lightning hit, but each time I cast it on an opponent, I could clearly see they were still regenerating just fine. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
I don't really see the value of pantheon games... They're just a means to pad your win record and pass time between competitive games when it comes down to it.
Exactly how I see many custom matches, as you can pick and choose who you want on your team based on win %. You can't choose your team mate in Pantheon.
