Jesus. This thread continues to piss me off. People like "Inflames" continue to push the issue into a negative community concept. I have my eye on a few other up coming games at the moment so personaly, if this game lives or dies, I wont be to heartbroken. That being said. I do really like this game, and hope its community thrives. First I'll break down the comment from "Inflames".
If you want to

At least your ego survived the crash.
I read a couple of responses to this that went along the lines of "that will never happen because of..."anonymity" or its a place to "bitch and complain", etc. You're missing the point, in my opinion. Many online gaming communities are very hospitable despite complete anonymity, etc. I think the problem lies in the fact that Demigod, on its face value is an easy game to get into, and so you will find many more younger players than you would in, say, the sins forums. People still pay money for 360 games? My old roomate has a 360 with about every game they have for it. Cash spent on games so far... $0.00
Steam...Impulse...hell burn them all. Gimme the old days where you could fire up gamespy (before it sold out) and play whatever. I hate this new trend, and no matter what valve/stardock/ea/etc says, its marketing bs. They should build there games without the need for this extra fluff. Let third party, open source freeware own the match making market, we (as a community) will create the best software that most represents what we want to see... ps. im a little tuned
i dont think so, cuz each map is made in 3dmax
ummm so? Still be nice if they let consumers design maps. I imagine we would see some stunning custom maps from the community.
The video review at gamespot is much more fair I think.
kinda missed the OPs point didnt ya supermud.
=) Those that cant figure out to tweak a router or firewall to get multi working could always wait/hope for a console version.
No such issues for myself. Feels like it did in beta.
All I know is, I pre ordered digital copy way back when the beta testing started. As of now I see now I see no "pre-release" download. All I have in impulse is my demigod beta version.
We should unite and sue game stop for pain and suffering!!!!
So pre-order people who have been playtesting through the beta get the shaft for the weekend?
