Same here. I played a lot of beta 2 and I was able to play Beta 3 without a hitch until recently. I've done two reinstalls to no avail. Im having this issue as well. I'm playing on Windows XP Pro at 1440x900. UPDATE: As mentioned by the above poster, noticed GUI bug would disappear as soon as an arena had been selected.
